In the sound of silence I contemplate
While you keep saying "everything's okay"
but you're prowling, waiting for me to take the bait
And so I did my love,I thought you made it all go away. Now I see how foolish I actually was
Convincing myself that you are the white dove
You made my heart skip a beat everytime you called me "luv"
And for that you deserve a round of applauseYou made me believe we had a future together
Away from all the bad things, we would live in the aether
But every second that passes you become like a cold weather
So now I have to ask, when did you love me? Never.I'm being torn apart by your so many faces
Whenever I think about you I become more and more faded
As the time went by, you really got me persuaded
But now I realised all you're feelings shadedI feel ashamed for thinking you were my soulmate,
That we are meant for each other we just have to wait.
While you have fun with your friends, all I can think about is hate.
So now you've done it, you ruined me, checkmate. You got a way of making me feel insane,
Like I can't trust my own brain,
Unless it's screaming your name,
Oh baby, it's such a shame...I would die for you, but would you do the same?
You said you love me, so why didn't you came?
You play with my feelings like it's some board game.
But baby I'm the one to blame,
Because my heart still burns in flames.
I have you in my hall of fame,
I still love you, oh what a shame...
