Short chapter

It may have been a few days since i've told my father my true identity but he is driving me nuts. I can't even get a break from him. He follows me around the village making sure that "i'm ok' and i know he's trying to protect but i swear if he doesn't stop i will lose it. He thinks that i don't know his constantly following me but I know he's there. I get so frustrated that i can't even talk to Astrid because all i can hear are his heavy walking. I didn't think it could get any worse but it did. Oh my Thor it did.

Astrid and i usually walked around the village while being followed but today we wanted to go into the forest and hoped that my father wouldn't follow. Spoiler: he did. I was going to meet her there since i wanted to check on something before heading to the cove. i was at the edge of the forest when i heard him yell out to me.
"Hiccup stop. That's the forest." i closed my eyes and sighed with a huff
"I know dad. I'm meeting Astrid in there." i tell him
"But how will you know where to go? I'll take you there." he says. I try not to laugh
"Dad. do YOU know where to go?" i ask with a serious face.
"Well no..."
"Exactly. Now i'll be back later." i walk off leaving my father probably really confused.
I arrive at the cove and I hear Astrid humming to herself. I walk behind her and wrap my arms around her waist. She giggles and I take a seat next to her.
"Wow I'm surprised your father isn't here." She days before laughing.
"It's not funny. He's driving me nuts and he can't even see how annoying and overprotective he is being right now. He didn't follow me when he didn't know who I was but now that he knows, he's acting like I'm this fragile boy who needs his father. I don't. I ride a dragon for Thor sake and I can't see. How does that work? I don't know?" I took a long breath after my rant and instantly felt calmer. I shake my head trying to not get too annoyed again with the situation. I close my and put my head on Astrid's lap. She instantly starts playing with my hair to calm me.
"I think for the moment just let your father be your father then next week tell him that he is bothering you. He is invading your personal space more than when you were younger. He let you have more space but now that you're back he needs to keep you close. I'd do the same but oh jeez now he's annoying." She says. I let out a laugh because she's so cute when she's flustered.
"Thanks Astrid. I'll try" I say.
