After a relaxing week has past by, Astrid came to me one morning telling me we have go home. Me being the stubborn Viking I am, I told her I can't go back knowing my father won't accept that I can take care of myself. Astrid being the strong Viking she is, won the argument and here we are. I'm packing our stuff getting ready to head back to Berk to face my father... again. I never thought I would have to do this again. All I seem to be doing is leaving and coming back because I have to or because I got asked to. I pack up the last of our stuff before searching Astrid.
"Astrid! Are you ready to go?" I yell. I walk for a few more minutes and still couldn't find her. I wonder where she's gone? I stop or a second and listen to see if I could hear her. I stood still for a few more seconds when i heard footsteps coming from behind me. i could tell she was trying to be sneaky so pretended I couldn't hear her coming and just as she was about to grab me, i pick her up and tackle her to the ground.
"did you really think you could sneak up on me?"
"a girl can try right?" She asked laughing
"Sure. You ready to go?" I say pulling her up from the ground.
"Yeah. Bit nervous though. I don't think my parents are going to be happy that I left for a week."
"Yeah... I don't think my dad isn't going to be too happy either." I say scratching the back of my neck. We stayed quiet for a minute thinking about what's the worse thing that could happen when we return home. We both made a noise of horror and disgust and continued to get ready. In a short minutes we where on Toothless making our way to back to Berk.

Hours past and we finally arrived at Berk. We land in the cove and took the stuff off of Toothless before making our way into the village. I'm just hoping Astrid doesn't get into too much trouble with her parents. If I get in trouble I can just leave again but she can't. Astrid grabs my hand and gives it's a squeeze to let me know she'll always be there for me. We both take and deep breath and make our way through the forest. I feel my feet hit the hard, dry dirt and we continue walking to the Great Hall. Astrid stops us for a second and turns me around to face her.
"I'm going to go to my house to see my parents. I'll meet you later in the cove?" she asked. I nod and she pecks me on the lips.

I take another deep breath and continue to walk. I'm not as nervous as I thought I'd be but I still feel like I'm going to pass out.  I go up the steep steps and open the large doors. I walk in and follow the sound of my fathers loud voice until I'm a few feet away from him. I hang my head and wait for him to notice me and say something first. The room goes silent for a few seconds until his soft voice breaks the silence.
"Hiccup? you came back" I didn't know he could speak that quietly. I was kind of shocked but looked up.
"Hiccup, I'm sorry for treating you like you couldn't take care of yourself. It's clear that you can and I promise to try my best to give you all the space you want." I smile at him.
"Thanks dad" I say. Moments later I'm being suffocated by a tight hug. Yep still bone crushing. He puts me down and I told him about my island before going to the cove to meet Astrid to see how much trouble she's in.
