Chapter 2
364 Days

Bang! I stumbled off the floor and looked up at Lisa, her body was sprawled across the entire bed and shuddering violently. I shook my head and pulled the blanket over her shaking shoulders, I peered out the window where the sky was a pale pink as the sun rose lazily, according to my watch, it was five-thirty a.m. I still had a few hours sleep left. I glanced towards the door where Alex was lying on his back on his makeshift bed, eyes staring up at the ceiling. Can't sleep? I thought, well get ready for some company! I walked over to him and climbed under the blanket, smacking his head to give me some room on the pillow.
"Lisa kick you out of bed?" He asked still staring at the ceiling.
"Quite literally." I groaned. "Next time you're sharing a bed with her." He rolled over to face me, his eyes flitted over my face analysing me carefully.
"I'd rather share a bed with you." He whispered tilting his head closer to mine. I pushed his forehead with my finger making him topple over on his back.
"If Lisa wakes up and catches you flirting you will never hear the end of it."
"But if she wasn't here?" I rolled my eyes as felt him take my hand under the blanket. "You love doing that don't you?" I chuckled.
"Yes, yes I do and I’m also a massive fan of sarcasm. It's a better way of insulting idiots." He smirked and pushed back one of the ringlets that had fallen into my face and gently kissed my cheek.

I woke to the sound of Lisa singing as loudly as humanly possible from the shower, I tried to get up but Alex had wrapped his strong arm around my waist, pinning me against his body. I tried flicking him a few times, no luck, aren't doctors suppose to be light sleepers? I tried shoving against him, he moaned a couple times but just tightened his grip. Last resort, I kicked hard in the shins, he yelped almost throwing me away from him, startled he looked around but found no threat.
"What was that for?" He exclaimed. I just ignored him and walked to the bathroom.
"Lisa!" She peeked her head through the curtain, her hair slicked against her face. "Shut up. Someone is going to come and complain." She just continued to stare at me, waiting for a better reason. "We don't want to draw any attention to ourselves." She sighed and went back to washing her hair, humming the tune of her favourite musicals.
When I walked back into the room Alex was pulling on a clean shirt, I leaned on the door frame admiring his muscular chest, I know I'm creepy but you would too don't deny it.
"Enjoying the view?" He asked looking up at me.
"Yup." I'm no hypocrite; I'm not going to deny it either. I found a remote to the ancient TV in the corner of the room; I turned it on and flicked through the news channels.
"Are we famous yet?" He asked walking over.
"No, not yet." I said frowning, I expected our faces to be plastered all over the news.
"They will probably hold off for a while they try to find us. They don't want to panic the public." Alex mused aloud. "And they don't want to admit that a teenager can outwit their security."
"Perfect I can go out and get make-over equipment!" We both turned to see Lisa dressed in a black mini-skirt with knee-high lace up stilettos boots, her blonde hair was covered with a fedora and she was taking out her huge sunglasses from her handbag.
