You both arrived in your bedroom not saying one word to each other the whole walk there. "When will the actual funeral be?" He finally spoke. "Tonight at dusk.." You quietly said as you walked towards the wardrobe Frigga had helped you acquire. "What color is custom in Asgardian culture to wear to a funeral?'  You asked him, unsure as you looked through the many dresses. "The person's favorite color. Hers was green." He said staring at your clothes. He walked over and grabbed a gorgeous green and gold dress that buttoned up the back and had a lace necking. It was long and elegant. "Are you sure Loki.. I don't want to show up wearing a bright color like this and--" your words were cut off by his finger "Mother loved this color, she would be satisfied, that is all that matters right now." He took your hand in his "you were like the daughter she never had." He whispered into your ear as he hugged you tightly. "How do you know this?" You asked him confused because Frigga said they hadn't spoken. "She came to me last night after you had left to talk to me about you, she had barely left your room. She spoke so highly of you, I felt almost ashamed of ever being so rude to someone who made my mother so happy." He sat on your bed and stared at the floor while you stood helplessly and clueless. Eventually you went and sat next to him placing your hand on his. Loki was caught off guard, causing him to avert his gaze towards your glossy eyes. You both stared into each other's eyes for a few moments before it was interrupted by Thor. "The funeral is soon. Father wanted you both present when he viewed the the holographic energy left behind by Mother." Thor had oddly swollen eyes that refused to meet with yours while he spoke. He nodded once and walked out. You got up and grabbed the dress. "I'm going to get dressed now Loki, do the same." You said before walking into the washroom. It took you a few minutes to button up the dress but you did and it was the most elegant article of clothing you had ever worn. You walked out to see Loki wearing what seemed to be a dark green suit with a gold tie. You walked towards him and grabbed his arm in an attempt to comfort him. He  replied to your action with a kind smile and gently kissed your forehead. "Let's go." he said quietly.
