Invaded

The next day you were woken up by screams, loud noises and multiple explosions. You quickly ran out of the room wearing your gown to see the large stone structure you called home in complete shambles. Your first thought was Frigga, you ran quickly to her chamber's to see her lying on the ground bleeding to death. You quickly rushed to her and lifted her head onto your lap as you tried to stop the hemorrhaging. "It's...okay dear..." Was all she said as you began to cry holding her tightly. Odin and Thor ran in quickly to see you holding her. "What happened here??" Odin yelled at you causing more tears "I don't know! I ran in to find her like this, I was woken up by all the loud noises and I thought she might have been in trouble. " You sat with Frigga still on your lap as tears streamed down your red face.

"She was like a mother to me..." You whispered as Thor walked over. "Her death will not be in vain (Y/N) , she will be avenged." He sat down next to you and awkwardly patted your back. Odin had quiet tears streaming down his face as he watched his beloved wife's corpse lie on the cold floor, head in your lap. "Thor, take her to the eternal sleep chamber for funeral preparations." Odin ordered and Thor obliged taking Frigga from you. "Will Loki be able to attend Odin?" You hesitantly asked him. He looked you up and down for a few moments with a heavy heart. "I know he's imprisoned, but at least let Frigga say goodbye to him if not letting him say goodbye." Tears soaked your face as Odin realized you cared greatly for his wife "you must supervise him." Was all he said before walking out with Thor. You went to the cells not bothering to clean up,walking by a guard who just came from lokis cell. You arrived and walked up to the cell which appeared to be in order, clean and Loki stood before you with a menacing look on his face. "What do you want mortal!?" He yelled at you catching you off guard. "Loki..." Was all you managed before you began to cry hysterically again and break down on the cement floor. He just shook his head in defeat and revealed what was really happening. Loki sat in a corner looking utterly defeated. His hair a mess, his gorgeous eyes dead, droplets of blood from hitting the walls in heartache and anger. You looked up at him as the tears still streamed down your face, looking at him the same way he looked at you. " You are allowed to go to the funeral, but only if I escort you." You said still staring at him expecting any type of reaction. Nothing. Eventually he nodded his head in agreement. You pushed the disable button and walked into the cell room, he stood up and you wrapped your arms around him quickly. Although he left his arms at his side for a few moments, he lifted them up like they weighed a ton and he wrapped them around you. "I won't say it'll be okay, but Frigga loved you so much. " was all you said to him as you held him in an embrace. "She loved you too..." He said quietly as he squeezed you tighter against himself. "Let's go get ready." You said solemnly as you both walked out of the dungeon.
