You, taehyung and taemin were now pulling up to the big building your prom was being held at. You could say your school did good this year, and you were hoping you would enjoy yourself tonight with your friends. Even if you didn't have the boy of your 'dreams' by your side you could still enjoy it without him.
Stopping in front of the double doors, taehyung grabs your hand and squeezes it. He turns around and smiles at you, his cheeks turning as red as a baby's bottom.
"Excited hyung?" You ask.
"Can't tell?" He replies smiling, he lets go of your hand and steps out of the car. You had just noticed Taemin was opening the door for you both.
Taehyung walks to door and waits for you and taemin. Taemin grabs your hand gently and closes the door behind you and the driver pulls off.
"I hope yo- we enjoy ourselves tonight, you deserve it y/n" taemin reassures. He smiles at you one more time , before jogging a little ahead of you to open the door for you and taehyung.
Opening the door, you immediately hear music blasting and teenagers everywhere. Some on the floor dancing, some at the bar, and some sitting down. You try and spy chimin, yoongi and namjoon but you didn't see them.
They must not be here yet.
"I'm gonna go grab some punch for us" taemin says , you watch as he walks away to the bar passing some of his friends and gives them some high fives then you shift your focus back to taehyung.
"Namjoon hyung is on his way?"
"Yes" taehyung smiles, he was really excited. "He said they'll be here in less than five minutes"
You nod at him and you two spend those minutes dancing and drinking, taemin had brought back the drinks a while ago but then he had excused himself to the restroom.
You and taehyung had finally got done with your drinks and threw them in the trash, finishing up you hear taehyungs phone ding. He takes out his phone, and you could practically be blinded from him glowing.
"They're here!" He gushes. You hear the double doors open and you see Namjoon walk in first and chimin shortly after.
You hear taehyung gasp and you had to turn and see the smile on your bestfriends face, so you didn't even get to see yoongi walk in or anyone else behind him.
"Baby!" Taehyung and namjoon walk to each other and immediately hug with both corners of their mouths turned up. You watch as Namjoon pecks taehyung on his lips and leads him to the dance floor. Taehyung gives you a smile and a wave and continues to walk away with his date.
