Sleepless night
4revgreen: I didn't mention this in my previous post, but I am a sufferer of insomnia. I have done since I can remember and it doesn't really affect me any more. If anything, it means I can get a lot done in the night: song writing, reading, thinking. At the moment I''m currently rereading "Silence of the lambs" by Thomas Harris, which has always been a favourite novel of mine since I was a young teenager, along with the other books in the series. There was just something about Doctor Lecter that I related to. No, I don't want to eat people. Actually, I'd say it was more the Mads Mikkelson version in the TV series that I relate too. He has a hatred of the rude and in my opinion was cleaning up the world. This is in no way me commending murder, he's a fictional character. I despise anyone who believes they should have that power over other people. But I can somewhat see was Lecter was trying to do. Taking something so rude and turning it into something beautiful.
I apologise if this is all a little off topic, but insomnia has granted me the ability to completely over think absolutely everything. Without it, I doubt I'd ever have found this page or have been a misanthropist.
My sleepless nights also allow me to reflect on not only how much I hate humanity as a whole, but how much I hat certain people.
Take my younger sister Emmeline for example.
Of course I have an affection for her, seeing as she is my sister, but she is just the living breathing proof that evolution failed. For a 23 year old woman, with a child(A baby boy, named Ajax, which I think says it all) she is incredibly thick. She denies climate change, because "It doesn't work like that" (Literally her only reason) voted for Brexit because "There so many brown people at Ajax's playgroup" (I got very angry with this. What does this have to do with leaving the EU?) and she just believes anything she reads in the papers or online. Does no research into it. I'm pretty sure she is an anti-vaxxer, but I made her get Ajax vaccinated, poor kid. She only drinks bottled water because of"The chemicals in the pipes" or something along those lines. Essentially, she is an idiot.
I don't see how anyone can be so ignorant to world issues. It's frustrating to know that only a few people have the full perspective that I myself believe I have.
I think I'll go practice my guitars now.
Please tell meother people out there feel like this about family members?
Yours "Sincerely," Vincent

Blueyedmr: I think a lot of us have insomnia. And all my siblings are very young so I don't feel like that about them but I do about people at college. How can people so fucking stupid be accepted into a place of education??

CptDavid: Ajax is the name of a football club based in Amsterdam and a programming technique. Poor kid.

Ed0g6: My parents sound a lot like your sister. Luckily they can't have children and I'm adopted so they can't spread their genes.

I use Instagram to share photo's I have taken. Never post captions, pictures of myself or anyone else. No tags either. Only family, people from church and "friends" follow me. I occasionally follow a page or two on political topics that I align with but other than that I avoid all social media apart from this forum. It's@vincenthiraeth if you'd like to follow
