"D-DANI? CAN I

t-talk to you?" Corbyn knocked on the in-home-office doors, his stuttering showing a sign of weakness. With no answer from the brunette, Corbyn opened the door, frowning as he had seen his husband asleep, leaning on his desk; which was full of files and notebooks. The blonde sighed, walking over to Daniel and picking the younger male up. He brought his husband to their bed without waking him up, pulling the covers over his body so he wouldn't get cold.

"Goodnight, baby, sweet dreams," Corbyn whispered, kissing his forehead and leaving him be; it was only seven in the evening, but Corbyn knew how much Daniel had worked for the past few weeks, pulling all-nighters at least twice a week, or well, everyday for this week.

The blonde walked back into his husband's office, where he usually wasn't allowed in, but Corbyn was too curious to not snoop around when Daniel had fallen asleep. He hesitated as he stood in the doorway, the heavy doors, wich contained multiple locks, were opened wide.

"Daddy, are we eating dinner anytime soon?" Corbyn jumped slightly when his little girl had pulled at his pant leg, taking deep breaths and leaning his head back with his eyes closed. "Yes, sweetheart, i will set the table in a minute and we will eat, okay?" He saw Luna nod at him, making grabby hands towards her father, indicating that she wanted him to pick her up. Corbyn took the little in his arms, smiling brightly and kissing her forehead, as she had leaned her head on his shoulder and wrapped her tiny arms around his neck.

Corbyn, without hesitating this time, stepped into the office and looked around. Luna was still in his arms, while he walked to the desk and snooped through the files and papers that laid out in the open. The father took his lower lip between his teeth in excitement, he had never gone against Daniel's wishes; that meaning he did everything the brunette told him to, as well as to not enter his office without permission, which was never granted to the blonde.

He had seen the painted red letters of the poster, he could only see the first three 'wan' and a bit of the chocolate brown hair of the person sticking out. Corbyn was about to pull away the file that was on top of the wanted poster, but jumped in fright once he had heard his husband's voice. "Baby? What are you doing?" Daniel seemed genuinely upset, as he watched Corbyn snoop around and look through the private documents. Corbyn rambled as Daniel walked towards him with a frown. The younger took Luna in his arms, staring Corbyn up and down with a glare. "I can't believe you," Daniel spoke to him, his voice so gentle, that Corbyn knew he had hurt Daniel's feelings and badly too, very badly.

The blonde had looked down, Daniel's hurting stare was breaking his heart. "I'm sorry," Corbyn's voice was nothing, but a whisper, his eye-sight blurring while tears started glazing them. "I-i came here to t-talk to you, b-but you were s-sleeping and i d-didn't want to wake you u-up-" Corbyn was cut off when Daniel placed his index finger under his chin, making Corbyn face the hurting male. "I don't care, Corbyn. I fall asleep and you snoop around? Is that how our relationship is going to go?" Still, Daniel's voice was as gentle as ever, making Corbyn whimper. "I-i didn't m-mean to. I-i just-" "Enough," Once more he was cut off in the middle of his troubling sentence.

"Luna, go play," Daniel had set the little girl to her feet, closing the doors behind her. "Listen to me, Corbyn, very carefully. You listen to me; that means following every rule i gave you. Do not ever go behind my back again, i will hurt you so much worse and you won't be able to breathe a second longer. Do you understand?" The collar of Corbyn's shirt was in the man's fist, slowly making him choke as he tightens his grip and pulls the boy up and off his feet. Corbyn nods his head, his face was a dark red, making Daniel smirk.

"What? I can't hear you, baby," Corbyn's tears had long ago started falling from his eyes. "I u-unders-stand," The male stuttered, wheezing, as he could not take in any air. "Good," Daniel had let go, pulling the long sleeves of Corbyn's shirt down gently. Corbyn slowly regained his breaths, while Daniel held him to his chest. "Everything's alright, my love," He brushed his fingers through Corbyn's hair, holding him close while the blonde was still gasping for his air. "Shh, you're fine," Corbyn had hid his face in Daniel's neck while his tears didn't stop falling. "You're fine, my love," The blonde wrapped his arms slowly around Daniel's figure, leaning into his touch as much as he could. "You're okay, just follow the rules, baby boy,"

"Yes, Daniel," Corbyn replied to him, a whimper unwillingly escaping his plump, rosy lips. "Good. You're fine, baby. Perfectly fine," Daniel sighed as the upset male placed a kiss on his neck, holding him tightly. "How about we go eat dinner, baby?" Corbyn shook his head at the suggestion. "I'm not hungry, you go and make sure Luna eats, please?" Corbyn looked up at him, questioningly. "Alright, baby, everything for you," And Corbyn believed the sentence that fell from Daniel's lips; if only that were the truth, but nevertheless, Corbyn saw it as the truth.

The older of the married couple walked towards their bedroom, laying on top of the covers and pulling his knees up to his chest. The twenty-one year old let out a sob, closing his eyes tightly as a waterfall of tears began prickling down his cheeks. The blonde did not stop, until he had cried himself to sleep, biting on his fist to keep silent. There were nails marks on the palms of his hands and bite marks on his right hand knuckles, his chest hurting from every breath he took and let go. Bruises were hidden under his clothes, but they were evidently there; placed neatly by Daniel's hand.

Corbyn had mumbled something incoherently, before he had let the darkness take him away. The blonde slept through the night, until it was eleven-thirty in the morning; not even feeling Daniel's arms snake around his waist and pulling him close when the male had gone to bed. He, also, hadn't felt, nor heard, Luna climbing in bed with them after a bad dream, making Daniel have to calm her down.

Corbyn sighed when he had seen the time, brushing the hair out of his eyes with a huff. The blonde turned around, pulling the covers over his head and lulling himself back to sleep with his countless of thoughts.
