A/N
Okay so this chapter gets real intense and may not be suitable for some people so heads up! Also in case you're wondering, yes soon we will get back to the usual cute and innocent stuff soon. Side note I'm not good at writing this stuff so yeah that why this chapter took so long and is probably cringe worthy and badly written.

I flutter open my eyes as I awake from my pain induced slumber and sleepily observe the surrounding area. Huh... this definitely is not the boot of the limo...

The room was fairly spacious from what I could tell but it was difficult to see as there was no light source apart from a small bared window that could be no bigger than my hand. My legs still hurt but the bleeding had stopped so I gathered all my strength and, using the wall for support I shakily got to my feet and managed to stumble my way to the window. Just like I had guessed the window was only just bigger than my hand. I stood on the tips of my toes trying to look through the window, the sun was just rising giving the room a light orange glow as the stars faded into the vast early morning sky. I must have been out for a couple hours since when I left home it was pitch black.

...home...I should be at home right now! At the sudden retaliation of where I am I started frantically shaking and pulling the bars on the window despite the fact I knew they wouldn't budge. After a while I gave up and fell to the floor in a fit of despair and began to cry.
How am I going to get home? Will I ever see my family again? Will I ever see Shuichi again? What about school?.... will I just spend my life in this room? Where is this room? Will I see my friends again?...

I curl up in a ball completely consumed by all these thoughts and feelings of despair. I lay there unmoving still crying for what felt like hours until I ran out of tears to cry, then I just lay in the same position completely numb. I don't know what I was waiting for. Someone to save me? Death? A miracle?

...I didn't need to wait for long though...

A door I hadn't even notice had existed, because it had blended into the walls so well, opened to reveal a black and white pudgy bear with one black button eye and one red glowing one. I remained still , unsure of what to do since I'd never been confronted by such a creature. I sat there staring at it until it started to jiggle as it began to start... laughing...? It wasn't a normal laugh though it was as if it knew something that I didn't and it also just sounded weird.

I shuffled back slightly since it's unnatural laughter was really unnerving. As soon as I did this though the bear used its stubby legs to walk a few steps forward. "Upupu good morning Miss Akamatsu~!" How does this bear know my name?! More importantly how can a bear laugh and talk?!
"Ehh?! Who are you! W-What are you!?" I shakily bellowed. The bear flashed a pair of sharp claws and looked really pissed.
"How rude! Are you tryna' tell me that you don't know who I am?!" I blankly stared at the now quite scary looking bear, not sure if it's a rhetorical question or not.

"I'm Monokuma of course!!! Jeeze Tsumugi really was tellin' the truth when she said you were as thick as a brick and had practically been livin' under a rock! Y'know you must be the first idiot he's kidnapped that doesn't know what Danganronpa is!" Wait this bear, Monokuma knows Tsumugi... who is this he that has kidnapped me and apparently people before...
"W-wait you know my cousin Tsumugi... and why a-am I here? Who kidnapped me?!" Monokuma began to giggle again his entire body rattling and jiggling as he did so.
"Oh sweet innocent Kaede, you've got a lot to learn about this world! Don't worry you'll learn fast!" And with that Monokuma left, leaving me alone wondering what the hell Is going on.

I sighed and lay back onto the cold clean floor. I closed my eyes and tried some calming breathing techniques to calm my nerves after being shaken by meeting the unusual Monokuma.
