Deimos stood with an irritated face in front of the goddess, who gave him a sly look.

"I know you were with my human. Where is she?" He hissed. "It's already been a while and I'm not in the best of moods. Hand her over-"

"Apologies, God Deimos!" Zeena laughed out laughed. "But it seems that the little human doesn't want to meet with you. How can I say no to her?"

"I will kill you, Zeena." He seethed. "My patience isn't the very best, you should know that. And we have made a bargain. If you find her, I'll give you something in return."

"Do you think you have the power to go against me, little child?" She then snorted before rolling her eyes in a haughty manner. "I am one of the original gods, created before you. People from your generation have come to take our place, yes that's very true, but would you like to come and test me? Hmm? God Deimos, learn your place."

What she said made him tense, and even more aggravated. It was true that one of the gods from his generation did go and take her spot as a main celestial, but not without carrying several traumatic experiences and scars that will never be healed. Fighting Zeena would be unwise, even if he managed to win over her.

Zeena continued with a glare, "The human will continue to live her happy life. You do not get the right to interrupt her. She was once yours, but now she isn't. It was all thanks to those stupid concubines you originally had. They were of no use anyways. None didn't even bear you a child. And even if we did agree of finding her, you never did say about me taking Lady Wisteria back to your domain."

"That girl is mine to have," he argued. "You may be an original, but it is our time of new gods to claim what is ours. Our Supreme has defeated yours. You no longer have any place with us. What makes you think that you have the power to protect this girl?"

A cold smile curled beautifully from the goddess. "Would you like to challenge Death and his Reaper?"

Deimos suddenly grew even more weary. His scowl hardened and murderous intent emitted from his form. "She's with him?"

"She's protected. Not just by him." Zeena walked straight up to the god and stabbed a finger into his chest. "What you are wanting is something that you'll never get. My mistress made certain of it."

"Mistress?" The goddess finally stepped down and let in a master?

Zeena gave a grimace, "You have no right to speak of my mistress, so you will not receive her name. You are not fit to even think of Lady Wisteria as well. It's time that you know that not everything can be handed down to you, God Deimos. Know your place like the other fallen originals have. You may have your glory now, but when a new Supreme comes, do you think that they'll let you off?"

Not waiting for any response, the goddess swiftly turned around and flicked a lock of her hair away from her eyes. She gave the god a dull frown. And then she left his temple, disappearing into the night.

"More snacks, Matteus? Don't be so stiff, relax a bit more. Every time I see you I swear by the gods that you keep on getting skinnier!" Delilah fussed as she touched the demon's face. Matteus slightly gave a sigh of satisfaction and continued on being pampered. "Gracious, you are truly a handsome boy!"

Wisteria gave a quietly laugh before ushering the demon closer to her. Matteus widened his eyes and let them sparkle in joy before launching himself into his master's arms, enjoying her warmth.

Threading her fingers through his soft hair, Wisteria smiled down at the demon and asked, "Comfortable?"

She felt him nod. Wis looked up to see Silky, not having it. She gave the Wisp a slight nudge on the arm before whispering, "The snacks have been prepared. Would you mind getting them real quick?"
