I think we can start off by saying that I am not the smartest person to walk this planet. Not even close.

You see, I decided to give in to my little brother's wishes when he asked if we could go see Tom Holland at the Comic Con in Arizona. I should've known that saying 'yeah, sure, I'll pay for us both to go' was a dumb thing to do. But I was caught up in the moment and went with it.

So here I am in the longest line in human history, dressed up in my usual black attire with a SpiderMan jacket.

My little brother sat on the floor at my feet, bored. He'd given up on standing and acting his age five minutes ago.

If we were this bored, I couldn't imagine how tired and grumpy Tom Holland had to be feeling.

"Are we there yet?" My brother looked up at me with raised eyebrows, eyelids however drooping. "It's almost like time is frozen. Inconveniently."

I nodded, not bothering to tell him we were up next. Not until that time came.

"Yo, stand up," I whispered, and my brother leapt to his feet.

"Holy shit," he muttered. "It's SpiderMan."

I laughed softly, pushing him by the shoulder. He moved towards Holland as if in a dream, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"You're my idol, man," my brother told him in a soft voice. "You have no idea how happy I am to meet you."

"Well if it's anywhere near as happy as I am to meet you, then I can imagine." Tom shook my brothers hand while my smile faded.

Shit, he's even cuter in person. And he's sweet.

My brother pointed at me, saying, "this is my older sister. She's single."

Tom laughed sharply, then looked up and me and froze. "Well hello."

I smiled softly, now nervous as hell. "Hello."

He licked his lips, offering his hands. I took them, shaky and uncertain, but he pulled me closer to him and said, "it's nice to meet you darling. What's your name?"

"Y/N," I answered in a choked voice. Ah, he was touching me. And his accent was hot. Really, really hot. "Y/N Y/L/N."

He wrinkled his nose. "That is beautiful. Just like you."

My brother whistled. "That was pretty cheesy but okay."

Tom turned to him with a sassy look. "Thanks young man. What's your name?"

My brother answered with a returned attitude. "Y/B/N." (Make one up if your brother doesn't exist.)

"Well I'm Tom, which you knew," Tom said back, making a face. "I'm not exactly on the ball now, am I?"

"You seem exhausted," my brother offered.

I nodded in agreement while Tom groaned. "Let's just take this photo, can we?" He asked in a pained voice.

My brother rose is hand. "Can you pretend to kiss my cheeks?"

Tom's eyebrows shot up. "O-okay?"

"Uh," I rose my own hand, just not as high. "Can I get a picture with him...by myself if I go through with it?"

Me brother smirked. (I should've taken that as a sign but with Tom Holland breathing down my neck I didn't) "Yeah, of course."

Tom shrugged, looking more tired than when we'd walked in. "Let's do it."
