"How about you wear this really, really, really sexy red dress?" Z suggested, holding it up by the hanger.
I looked at it. "Erm...no?"
She dropped it. "Why not?"
"Cause although it's my birthday, I'm not wearing that around the house." I reasoned with her some, but she pressed incredibly.
I soon gave in, and put the dress on.
It's not like I was going anywhere. I hadn't told anyone but Z, Lizzie, and Scarlett about my birthday. And I didn't have plans. Also, this dress wasn't as sexy as Z made it seem.
It was short, and had a lovely neckline. And when I twirled, it flared out considerably. No sequins, no lace, nothing. It's not too sexy....I think.
"You're gonna have fun today, I promise," Z muttered while I changed.
I paused and stared at the back of her head. "What did you do, huh?"
She shrugged. "Nothin'."
I nodded. I zipped the dress up and tapped her shoulder. "Why you lyin'?"
She smiled widely, and handed me a pair of high heels. "Be on your way now."
She pushed me out of my own room and locked my own door on me.
I felt very uncertain about all this.
Especially when I walked to the stairs and found, at the bottom, a certain Holland boy with flowers and a box.
I smiled wider than Zendaya.
He looked so damn cute.
And by his facial expression, I guessed he was thinking the same about me.
"You look....wow," he muttered. He stared up at me with light in his eyes.
That made me smile wider.
Damn. He was so cute.
"You coming down?" He asked, half grinning.
I walked down the steps to him, forgetting my heels in my hand as they clattered to the floor. He picked them up and slowly handed me the bouquet. "For the loveliest girl I know," he whispered.
"Cheesy." I smiled, showing no teeth.
He was looking at me as though that smile as the cutest he'd seen. "Happy birthday, darling."
I looked at my feet. "Thanks, Tom."
He opened the box, showing me a necklace.
Upon closer inspection, I saw that it was a black SpiderMan symbol. I laughed, of course. "Oh god, Tom. I love it!" I said, and realized how much I meant it.
"You know, I heard you were a marvel fan," he said sarcastically. "So I figured you might like to come to set with me today...and maybe meet the Avengers?"
I was in shock. Really, really really happy shock. "Of course!!"
I squealed, going against my dignity and jumped into his arms.
He seemed really, really really happy too, hugging me tightly. "Zendaya thought you might like to do a photo booth/photo shoot with them."
I smiled against his chest. "Definitely."
"How long until Tom asks you out?" Robert asked, five minutes into meeting me.
I sat on my knees as ladylike as I could while talking to Robert, Sebastian, and Mackie.
When Robert first saw me, he clicked his tongue and made a very cheeky comment. And then he asked why Tom had never introduced them to his fiancé.
I'm not in any way his fiancé, but damn I want to be more than anything.
And Mackie had suggested keeping us apart or at very least using a condom so there wouldn't be more 'little assholes' running 'round the set.
'We haven't...done that yet' I'd protested.
They'd given me the 'nod uh huh' thing.
"Well?" Robert waited for an answer to his previous quarry.
I stared a hole into the floor. "Well....I dunno. I'm not in control of this relationship."
What I meant by this was 'I wish he'd man up already...like Z said'.
Tom came traipsing back, looking proud. Practically glowing. "Wrapped up that scene," he said, panting a bit. "No more kissing."
I snorted unintentionally.
He'd had a kissing scene with Z today, and Z had complained all night. "I have to kiss him! He's probably never kissed before!"
We'd all heartedly disagreed with that; we were all sure he'd certainly kissed before.
And when Z came walking up behind Tom, face flushed, I figured she now realized he wasn't exactly 'inexperienced.'
And I realized how jealous I was.
"So, kissing scene over with I take it?" Robert says with a little smile.
It wasn't his normal. He actually seemed unhappy they had a kissing scene.
That's fine, cause so was I.
"How'd it go?" Seb asked.
"I hope it didn't escalate," Mackie muttered.
"It went fine, and it didn't escalate," Tom said back, and I noticed he didn't make eye contact with either of the guys who asked, but with me.
Eye contact was one of those things I'm not too good at.
"It actually was quiet good," Z said, face still a bit red. "But he was kissing the wrong girl, eh Y/N?"
I glared furiously at my lap.
And I didn't comment.
Tom however, coughed, and said, "time for photoshoots?"
And just like that, the subject was changed.
