"What do you want for Christmas?"
I wanted Tom Holland. There's no way to beat around the bush, I wanted him. I didn't exactly know how I'd get him, but when my best friend, Zendaya, asked me what I wanted for Christmas, that's what I told her. "Z, I want Tom Holland for Christmas."
She laughed. "Oh yeah? Lots of girls do."
I nodded. "But I'm special."
She sighed. "Oh how?"
I shrugged, snuggling deeper into the blanket. Z and I watched Christmas movies for the entirety of December, and right now we were like, two weeks in. "I'm best friends with Zendaya Coleman/MJ."
Z laughed again. "I get it."
Another two weeks later it was Christmas Eve, and Z and I were once again snuggled up in blankets, watching Christmas Story.
Z squinted at the screen. "If you could have one thing for Christmas under that tree in the morning, what would it be? Besides Tom Holland?"
I snorted. "Huh, what about a puppy? To be far more specific....his puppy."
Z snorted just like me in response. "You want Tom and Tessa? You're even more obsessed than I thought." She ruffled my hair and snuggled closer. "But I do love you."
I sighed. "One of these Christmases, I will get my wish."
Z nodded. "I hope so."
When the movie was over, Z beckoned me back into my room, shutting my door and turning off all the lights.
I just shook my head; she acted weird sometimes. So I put on my pjs and climbed under the covers, getting to sleep before Z could do anything weirder.
When I woke up the next morning, I rolled over to look at my alarm clock.
I was...unfortunately dismayed to see it was like, 6 in the morning.
I figured I could get a head start on making food for the Coleman/Y/L/N dinner coming up, so I tamed my hair and wandered out into the living room in boy-shorts and a Christmassy tank top.
I froze, in a dead halt, when I saw the Christmas tree.
It was all lit up and beautiful, but what was underneath it made me stop breathing almost entirely.
Tom Holland sat beneath the tree, playing with a bow on his shoulder.
His dog was fast asleep curled up beside him.
Tom rubbed his eyes and finally looked up at me, and he froze. "Oh, good morning darling."
I immediately felt self conscious, trying to fix my hair again.
He laughed, wrinkling his nose up at me. "Your pajamas are cute."
I let out a breathy laugh. "Oh-uh, yeah."
He nodded, and patted Tessa. "Well, merry Christmas love."
I nodded slowly, "yeah...merry Christmas. How did you even get here?"
Tom gave a soft laugh, standing up and trying to remove the bow from his hair. "Well, Z snuck me in about ten minutes ago, put a bow in my hair, one on my shoulder and-" he twisted around to look behind him at his ass. "I think she put one on my ass, but I can't be sure."
I covered my mouth with my hands. "Holy shit!" It was muffled, but he still heard it and laughed softly.
I-awkwardly-touched his shoulder, cueing him to turn around, and sure enough, there was a bow, but on his lower back. I carefully pulled that off and handed it to him.
He looked up at me through his eyelashes and a frown. "You're really pretty."
I shook my head.
"No, you really are, or I wouldn't've said anything." He looked at the bow a moment before putting it on my forehead before I could protest.
That made me laugh.
Tom smiled at my laugh. "Well, I hope you got all you wanted for Christmas."
I bit my bottom lip. "Oh trust me, I did."
He rose an eyebrow as he tried to sneakily apply the bow on his shoulder to my chest, but I grabbed his arms to keep him from it.
"Looks like you two are getting along."
Z was standing in the hallway with her arms folded, smirking.
Tom stopped laughing, but the happy smile was still on his face. "Well, she's a sweetie, so yeah."
I know I blushed.
Z smiled even wider. "I see." She rose an eyebrow. "I think I'll go back to sleep for another two or three hours....you two have fun."
She turned around, heading down the hallway.
Tom gave me a look.
"And no funny business!" She shouted over her shoulder.
Tom laughed, and tried to wrench his hands out of my grip. "Let me put the bow on you!"
I let him. Needless to say, this was the best, and most shocking, Christmas of my life.
