Earth
Survivors Shelter and HideoutWaking up, I feel nothing first. I suddenly felt dizzy and afraid. Frantically, I realize I can not move, but I can see a blue sky with clouds. A feeling of an aching sadness hit me. My home didn't look like this. Gray skies, unbreathable, with no wind or clouds, was what was supposed to be there. Rubble and dirt all over, dead fauna, buildings crumbling after years of neglect. It should look like ruins from ancient civilizations, that I see in books, but more dark and tragic. No animals at all; they all died eons ago. No plants, just husks. No wind, no clouds, no insects even. Nothing. Not even the sun. The smokey air hides it completely. Toxic fumes, smoke, pollution, and no oxygen in our atmosphere. Stars. Never seen them. Moon, a sad reminder of a lost age of this now forsaken planet. EARTH. All I see before me, is a lie, a dream mocking me. A vain hope. A lost memory.
