Ever since humans first evolved on Earth, we have f*cked up the natural balance of life. First by robbing our planet constantly of her resources, then by causing the extinction of several animals and plants, than by pollutting our home with all sorts of bad stuff. Our final mistake was trying to mess with the base of all life: DNA. At first it was a noble quest, change the celluar structure of cancer cells. We could prevent people from dying if we could change its DNA to be a normal healthy cell. Then, we got greedy, altered people to be "superhumans" these folk were designed to be immune to all disease and have hyperhealing. Old age is the slow deteriation of your body, but with hyperhealing we could stop that on a celluar level. These folk were called the Immortals, and they were terrifying. Made into living weapons, the terrifying front line soldiers. Humans did not stop there though, we wanted to test radiation and nuclear energy as a power source to make more of these gods. Mother nature finally, after eons of humans screwing with things, decided that was enough. An massive 0.9 earthquake racked the earth, with the largest nuclear plant at the center of the quake. The plant erupted, nuclear waste everywhere. In other places, even more nuclear plants destryoed, as well as 100,000 nuclear and atomic bombs. Earth was hitting the reset button. In just 1 day, earth's human population of 50 billion was reduced to just 90 people. These 90 people grouped up, and worked to survive. Sadly, they failed. Horrible mutated creatures killed a majority of them, while others succumbed to illness from the raditation, until there were just a handful. They worked to send 2 people seperatly to a different planet. 1 man and 1 woman. They were to survive and populate the planet, so the human race can live on again.
