day 1 1/2
park jimin

min yoongi and i teamed up with each other to find some firewood for the fireplace since we still can't figure out how to work the furnace thingy. opsie

anyways, ever since last night when kim namjoon made the groups, everyone has been less stingy with each other. i guess that's progress or something? as long as we're alive, right?

"What's taking them so long?" Yifan grunts as he walks around the room hurriedly back and forth. Jin offers his condolences and whatnot, but he ignores it. "They're just supposed to be out getting sticks. It shouldn't take... for fucks sake. We don't even have our fucking clocks out here. They could've been gone for hours."

Namjoon sighs as he sits up in his bed, awaken from all the yelling, "Yifan~!" He whines, "Why do you have to yell so early for and AH! It's freezing!" The boy grabs his blankets and wraps it around his body which makes him look like a burrito.

"That's the fucking point!" The oldest boy yells at the boy, "They should've been back to feed that stupid fireplace with sticks, but they're not back yet and god knows how long poor Shortcake's been out there with that monstrosity of a person."

Namjoon tucks his face into his blankets feeling attacked and Jin stares down Yifan. "Don't yell at Namjoon!" He yells back defensively, "He's not responsible for Jimin and Yoongi's actions. Besides, don't worry so much. They'll be fine."

Yifan paces around the room a few more times and ultimately makes up his mind, the thought of Jimin evilly making Yoongi do all the tasks himself was enough to send Yifan out the door without another thought crossing his mind.

Jin tsk's and Namjoon finally uncovers his eyes that he hid behind the blankets and sighed longingly, "He's kind of stupid."

"So stupid." Jin adds making Namjoon fall back onto his bed while he stared at the wooden frame of his bunk bed.

This was going to be a long two weeks.

Jimin and Yoongi walked side by side, the air between them awkward and almost unsettling as they found nothing to talk about while looking around the general area. At least they think they're still in the same area, but they didn't even notice that because they were too consumed by the silence of it all.

It didn't help that the forest was literally one of the quietest places in the world, besides the occasional chirping of the birds and the crunching sound they heard when they or the wild animals that roamed around stepped on sticks and leaves.

Yoongi didn't know what Jimin was thinking right now, but it probably wasn't going into any thought about how awkward all this was. All Yoongi could think about was that and the fact that they were in the same forest as that stupid door that caused all of his problems in the first place.

How much easier would it have been had he not found that stupid door, how much easier it would have been had he not seen Jimin through it? These were the questions he wanted answers to, he didn't want to know how much carbon dioxide a tree uptakes yearly.

Was he actually destined with him, or was that stupid door just playing a cruel trick on him? He just wants to know.

"Jimin hyung," the boy says quietly. If it were anywhere else, Jimin probably wouldn't have heard it given his voice was so small, just like the boy himself. He let out a quick hum in response to him, but all he felt was a push from behind.

He turned his head to the side a little to see that Yoongi's head was resting on his back, as if he was hiding himself.

"Hyung, m'scared. I don't like the dark." Yoongi admits and Jimin nearly loses all his cool. Not only did he just now realize how dark it was getting, they were also in the middle of the fucking forest, and probably lost at that. Oh, and Yoongi was basically making him drop all of his uwu's right then and there.

"Let's go by that rock for a bit, you look really tired." Jimin nudges Yoongi a bit and point towards a huge chunk of a rock, "I'll be right next to you the whole time, I just need to use this compass real fast." He adds when he had gotten an unsure look from the younger boy.

"That's dumb, the compass is useless."

Jimin chuckles a little bit as he pulls out the compass, watching Earth's magnetic field control the little pointer, "I'm not as smart as Namjoon, but it doesn't mean I'm not passing this class." He says while still keeping his eyes fixed on the compass hand that keeps changing from North to West.

"I'm not useless and the compass isn't useless either."

"Park Jimin is useless!"

"You're back!" Namjoon jumps up in surprise when the door flies open revealing an overly worried Yifan, Namjoon didn't notice his expression at first, so he didn't worry at first. "Wait, where's Yoongi and Jimin hyung?" He asks and Yifan shrugs then runs a hand through his hair.

"They're gone. I can't find either of them."
