"holy crap, they even have an ice rink!" i exclaim, running up to the side of it and watching everyone glide by peacefully. i look back at corbyn, who rushes to catch up with me and then proceeds to connect our hands as they were previously. we stand there for a few seconds before i decide i want to visit some other parts of the fair, the goosebumps forming on my skin as we stand next to the ice begging me to go somewhere else.

"let's go get something to eat!" i exclaim suddenly, tugging corbyn along to a small stand that's selling hotdogs.

"woah, slow down baby, the food isn't going anywhere." corbyn chuckles as i rush us into the queue, and i turn to pout at him. he presses his cold thumb against my lower lip and pushes it in, making me giggle slightly.

"no pouting allowed on our anniversary." corbyn tuts, his arm going to wrap around my waist. i blush as i lean my head against his shoulder, my smile everlasting; in this moment in time, i'm happy. really, truthfully happy. my heart swells with every look corbyn gives me, every time he smile, every word that comes out of his mouth. it's all feeding my good mood. and i couldn't picture a better way for us to be spending our one year anniversary than at a winter fair. it's perfect.

"could we have two medium hotdogs, please." corbyn's voice breaks me out of my thoughts, him handing the money over to a short girl who begins to prepare our door. i bounce on my heal excitedly, the smell making my stomach rumble. finally, she brings us the food, corbyn grabbing the. both and thanking her before handing me mine with a charming smile. i grab it from him and lean over to kiss his cheek as we walk away.

we find a small picnic table not too far away from all the action and we sit down beside each other, enjoying our hotdogs in comfortable silence. we stay there even after we finish, watching the scene before us with admiration, the feeling almost unbelievable.

suddenly, a chilly winter breeze passes through us, and i involuntarily let out an obvious shiver, making corbyn look over at me suddenly. he chuckles but doesn't hesitate to pull me closer to him, burying his face into my neck.

"i can't believe we're actually here. it's been a whole year, corbs." i murmur.

"i know. a whole year of happiness, and many more to come." he mumbles into my skin, making me squirm suddenly and giggle.

"you're a big sap, you know that right?" i laugh, kissing the top of corbyn's head.

"yeah, i know." he says, once again into my neck, making me laugh loudly. to fuel the fire more he blows onto my skin, making me shriek suddenly and jump, looking at corbyn in surprise.

"what was that for!" i whine, corbyn looking at me with an amused face.

"i wanted to hear you laugh, so the only logical way to do that is to tickle you." he chuckles, approaching me slowly. the cold wind still blows against us as i try backing away.

"oh, no you don't!" i squeal, running away from the blonde boy. we run around and chase each other aimlessly for a few minutes, both of us laughing our heads off, until finally corbyn's arms wrap around my waist, pulling me suddenly into his chest. his breath fans over my ear, before he speaks in a soft, loving tone.

"baby, don't walk away, cause it's cold in la, every time that you leave me behind."

the end.
