Andy POV
The night went by quite fast, well faster then I expected it to be. I didn't drink because I'm not the type of person to go to a party and get completely hammered. The type of people who do baffle me because that means they are very good with the amount of alcohol they can deal with or they are just stupid and just want to drunk because they have nothing better to do with their lives. Well, I knew the party was gonna end in the next half an hour so I went to go look where Mikey was so I could tell him that we should start getting ready to go home. It took me a while to find him when but when I did I realised he wasn't that drunk and you couldn't smell any alcohol on him which surprised me because normally when Mikey went out he would get completely hammered and not be able to walk straight or even make a full sentence that makes sense. There had to be a reason that he didn't drink because like I said he's normally passed out or throwing up at this part of the night. I hope it's for the same reason as me because I really want to get this over and done with so I can get my best friend back and move on with my life to find someone who is gonna make me feel truly loved and cared for
When we knew everyone had left the building, me and Mike made our way back home so we could get rest and relax after the extremely stressful day we had just had. But before we both fell asleep I asked Mikey if I could talk to him and he said yes
"So what do you wanna talk about, Fovvs?" Mikey asked me curiously
Mikey POV
"So what do you wanna talk about, Fovvs?" I asked him curiously
"I think we need to break up Mike. It's honestly nothing to do with you, it's just not working for me anymore. You are a gorgeous boy and you're a great guy but I just don't feel the way I did when we first started dating. Please don't hate me because I still want to be best friends because I miss you honestly" He said to me looking down to the ground
I'm honestly so happy he said that. I know I said I was gonna tell him but I honestly don't think I wouldn't been able to do it. I would have been too nervous and too scared to hurt him to do it so I'm glad he took that weight of my shoulders and did it himself
"So do I, Fovvs. Honestly, I feel the exact same as you. Obviously I will always love you but I'm staring to realise it's more in a best friend way then a relationship way. And honestly I miss you too. I'm honestly so happy you feel the same way because I was gonna tell you but I don't think I would have had the balls to so thank you for doing it. I love you so much Fovvs, remember that" I said to him, a small smile appearing on my face
Andy POV

I love you so much Fovvs, remember that" Mikey said to me, a small smile appearing on his face
"I love you too Mikey. I'm so glad that I've got my best fiend back" I said smiling like a Cheshire cat
"Same Fovvs, same" He said smiling at me
I leant forward and gave him a hug because I think we both need one in that moment. I honestly missed him being my best friends so much. We were both shattered so after we finished talking we got into bed. And you're probably gonna say "isn't it gonna be awkward sleeping in a bed with your ex?" but for me I see him as my best friend more than my ex so no it's not awkward. Me and Mikey have been best friends for many years now and we have slept in a bed together millions of times in the past so it's not different now. I turned around and started to close my eyes when I heard Mikey say
"Just because we aren't together anymore, doesn't mean you can't come cuddle with me. So come and get your ass over here because I don't know about you but I want to cuddle my best friend"
I knew I couldn't deny a cuddle session with Mikey so I turned around and snuggled into his chest and fell asleep, knowing I was safe in my best friends arms
