The sun is shining bright on the cold December morning, as Sebastian Michaelis opens his young master's bedroom door.

Opening his curtains widely, and then preceding to push in the cart which consists of Ciel's morning tea and the morning paper.

"Good morning Young Master," Sebastian exclaims as Ciel sits up rubbing his eyes.

"What do you have today?" Ciel asks referring to the tea.

"I have prepared for you a light Peachberry Jasmine Sutra green tea this morning. Imported from one of our company partners.

He puts his hand out for his tea and his butler is right there with it ready.

Such a morning routine the two of them have.

Sipping his tea, Ciel flips through the newspaper and spots an.. unusual article.

"Man found dead in alleyway with," Ciel pauses lifting an eyebrow in confusion, "feline... scratches running across his body. Officers believe a cat clawed the man for no particular purpose..." Ciel trails off.

"This is idiotic!" He exclaims handing the paper to Sebastian so he could look at it.

"Indeed My Lord," Sebastian says after skimming through the article, "I must say I have not come across a case such as this before. As... unfortunate for the man this is, I do believe what the officers think happened is false. You see, it is not in a cat's nature to kill outside the purpose of finding nourishment. The only cat that would not surprise me to straight up kill someone would be a large wild cat not often found wandering the alleys of London. Adding to that, the scratch marks, and the cuts are much too small to be any large feline. So even if there was a tiger or, a lion loose from... a circus per say, the size of the marks would not correlate with said large feline. Leaving it to be said that the officers are lying to the public about who or what really killed this man. Needless to say, if It really was a cat, than it would have to a hell of a mean kitty."

Ciel is gaping at Sebastian mouth open.

"What the hell was that?" He asks dumbfounded.

"Whatever do you mean master? I was simply explaining my view on the case." Sebastian smiles. He knows how much his young master loathes cats.

"You just spit out all this information about cat.. claws! Do you really think I would want you wasting your time on this case? The whole thing is bullshit."

"I agree master, I think we should leave it for now, unless something like this happens again."

"Which it will not," Ciel stretches and puts his legs over the side of the bed.

"We shall see."

Sebastian sets his master's tea on the cart again and proceeds then to dress him for the day.

Attired in his green jacket and ribboned boots, Ciel holds his eyepatch in place as Sebastian ties it on the back of his head.

"What do I have planned for today Sebastian." Ciel inquires as the two of them walk down to the dining room so Sebastian could serve Ciel breakfast.

"There is another stack of papers that need to be delt with."

"Another request from the duke I presume," Ciel rolls his eyes as Sebastian pushes in his chair after Ciel sat down.

"Quite," Sebastian remarks with a smirk.

"What are you smiling at," Ciel inquires.

Sebastian is surprised that His master did not say something rude after that.

"You look like an idiot," Ciel's voice rings back into Sebastian's head.

Ah yes, he thinks, there's my young master.

"It was nothing I assure you," Sebastian exclaims.

"Hm," Ciel looks back down at his food and takes a bite.

"Brat." Sebastian whispers turning to the tea cart.

"What?" Ciel looks up confused.

"Oh nothing," Sebastian smiles again, "nothing at all."

------1 Hour Later-------

Ciel is seated at his office again, when a knock on the door startles him.

"What is it?" Ciel answers.

Sebastian walks into the room with a newspaper in hand.

"There has been a situation master," he tells Ciel.

"Situation?" Ciel looks up and puts his pen down.

"It seems the unnatural has occurred again," Sebastian says bowing while handing Ciel a newspaper. "This is one of the first copies printed."

"Another newspaper? Two in one day is indeed unnatural," Ciel takes the paper.

"It is not so much a newspaper as it is a short article," Sebastian informs his master.

"I see," Ciel reads the headline.

Another Man Found Dead By With Evidence of Cat Scratches.

"What!!!" Ciel's eye widens in surprise and he stands up clutching the paper close to his face.

"Another attack?! But you said this wouldn't happen again!!"

"I apologize master, but I said nothing of the sorts. I merely said that we shall see if the case reoccurred."

"Well it did." Ciel walks to the front of the desk and heads for the door.

"What now master?" Sebastian asks.

"Come," Ciel says in reply, "We are going downtown."
