Kelsey Stilinski was insanely excited. Her plane was minutes away from landing at Beacon County Airport, where she would take a taxi back to her home. But was it really her home anymore?

She had been gone for three years at the elite Samtrent Boarding School in New York. She hadn't been home since right before she left for the school in sixth grade. There were a couple reasons for that: a) the school kept her super busy since she was on a partial scholarship and needed to keep her grades up to be able to continue attending, b) the school was year-round and her dad decided that none of the breaks were long enough for the cost of a round-trip ticket to be worth it.

The Stilinksis were having money problems- that was why she was leaving Samtrent and instead attending Beacon Hills High. The one time she was supposed to fly back and visit, her dad had canceled the flight because the cost of a recent MRI for her brother Stiles was too high to afford both.

That was Kelsey's personal reason for coming home. Though she hadn't told anyone, she wanted to come back to check on her brother. From what she heard, he had been through a lot- dealing with several series of murders from the town, getting an MRI, being admitted to Eichen house- her dad told her that Stiles had the same symptoms her mom did. Though he recovered, she missed him and didn't want not to have seen him for years in case the unthinkable happened. She guessed you never really knew how much time you had left with someone- and Stiles knew it too. Apparently he had been there when one of his friends, a girl who was apparently called Allison, was killed.

He needed her back. They had been so close before she left. She missed her friends too, and his- she was close with Scott, who was like another big brother. And apparently, he was friend with Lydia Martin now. When Kelsey left, Lydia had no idea who he was. Kelsey and Lydia were old friends though- they both were insanely smart and prided themselves on their fashion sense and style.

The pilot announced that they were going to land in a few minutes. Kelsey smiled to herself and started humming that old song, "I'm coming home, coming home, tell the world I'm coming home."
