"Oh, (Y/N)!" You sighed as someone called your name from the door.

"I'm coooming!" You shouted, although you didn't actually get off of the couch for another 20 seconds.

"(Y/N)!"

"I SAID, I'M COMING!"

"THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!"

"WHAT FRESH NONSENSE IS THIS?" And you finally hauled yourself to your feet to go let him in.

This particular friend had been away for a few weeks. He'd been on a trip with his family, so you hadn't gotten to introduce him to Dagur yet.

Speaking of whom... He padded after you curiously as you answered the door.

"(Y/N), (Y/N), (Y/N), (Y/N), (Y/N)!" As you finally opened the door your friend launched himself at you, giving you a HUGE bear hug. "AW! It's so great to see you! I could kiss you!"

Dagur's fur immediately puffed out, like a tiny grenade had just gone off in his belly. He growled and hissed as he stalked nearer to your friend.

"Whoa... You didn't say he was this feisty!"

"He's... He's not normally like this..."

"Yeah, right. I bet you love it when he gets vi- OH, FFFFF-"

"DAGUR! NO!"

"GET HIM OFF! GET HIM OFF! NICE KITTY! OH FFFF-"

He ran out the door and Dagur chased him to his car.

"GET BACK HERE, YOU DEMON CAT!"

A few hours later, having crept out of the closet you'd tried to shut him in, Dagur sat with his back to you. You sighed.

"What is wrong with you? That was my friend! You haven't done that to any of my other friends, why the hell would you get so upset over him? He's a nice guy! And he gets a lot of crap from people already! Ugh, you know what? Fine. Ignore me. I'm going to bed."

With that you stormed off to your bedroom and shut the door. It was the first time you'd locked him out, and after a while he began to claw at the door. You sighed, finally giving in.

"Alright, but you'd better behave! And don't you ever treat my friends like that again!"

He slunk past your legs and crawled under the bed, where he remained for the rest of the night, as if he were trying to punish himself.
