...Well, you'd almost managed to go a week without incident. You'd just been fired from your job. There'd been an... accident... concerning someone who'd once again made the mistake of making a grab at you. This time, you'd flown off the handle... Somebody had to tell that guy what a scumbag he was!
"'Not friendly enough?' What kind of excuse is that?" You mutter, rubbing your eyes dry for the third time. "'Need to smile more, can't harass the customers...' He was harassing me!"
Dagur hovered around you uncomfortably.
"I'm fine!" You snapped. "Don't look at me like that! I'm FINE! It was a terrible job anyway. I'll just find a better one." Besides being unconvinced, Dagur seemed concerned with the red mark on your cheek and the bruises on your arms. You were many things, but a fighter wasn't one of them. You sniffed.
He climbed into your lap and shoved his forehead into your face.
"Yes, thank you. Fur in my mouth. That makes everything better."
"Mrr."
