Natsu Dragneel is widely known as Salamander of Fairy Tail. Although he is strong, with his reckless nature he tends to overdo it a lot, and the Magic Council has sent numerous complaints to Makarov for the destruction caused by him. Natsu always wants to be as strong as possible, and he usually tries to take on the S-Class members with varied results to say the least. He is intensely loyal to his guild and isn't the type to easily give up.

Gray Fullbuster has more of a laid-back personality but is serious when time calls for it. When he was younger, he tended to be quite reckless but now is more cautious in life and approaches problems carefully. Like Natsu, he is extremely loyal to the guild and cares for the members deeply, although he tends to trash-talk every now and then. Gray also has a disturbing habit of stripping his clothes (often including underwear) during the most inappropriate moments. And perhaps the rivalry between Gray and Natsu exists simply because fire and ice don't mix!

NAME - Lucy Heartfilia MAGIC - Celestial Spirit Magic LIKES - Celestial spirits, books DISLIKES - Her father
Lucy is the current newest member of Fairy Tail, brought and introduced to the guild by Natsu when they first met in the port town Hargeon. She comes from an extremely wealthy family but always needs to go on last-minute jobs to pay her rent. She doesn't get along very well with her father. For now, she holds contracts with eight celestial spirits, four of which are the Twelve Golden Gates of the Zodiac. She loves to read and is currently working on a novel, although she doesn't make a big fuss about that fact.

NAME - Happy MAGIC - Aera LIKES - Fish DISLIKES - Dogs (but is fine with Plue)
Happy is Natsu's cat companion. He uses the magic Aera, which allows him to grow wings and fly. He supposedly hatched from an egg after Natsu and Lisanna (his childhood sweetheart) took care of it. Happy's favorite food is fish of all shapes, sizes and colors with the exception of Hane-Sakana, massive winged fish.
