It was a relieved guild that welcomed Solstice back from Galuna Island. Khann ran up and threw his arms around her waist, beaming. "I knew you could do it."

The older wizard raised an eyebrow. "Did you now?"

The boy nodded vigorously. "I did!" When the eyebrow stayed where it was, he relented. "Alright, maybe not at first, but I did! Really!"

"Okay, I get it." She ruffled his hair. "I'm tired, so I'm going to go to wash and take a nap." Staring at him, she said firmly, "Don't you dare come knocking like you did four days ago. If you do, I'm going to get mad. Understood?"

"Y - yes," he squeaked.

"You know, Sol, I would have thought it would have taken longer for you to finish." A strawberry blonde glanced at her, her eyes narrowed. "The expected time range was two weeks. Did you have... help?"

This is Camelin Misuto, a Sound wizard, able to amplify and twist anything she hears. It is also why her hearing is equal to no one but the Dragon Slayers. However, she has no physically impressive skills, instead relying on her intellect and ability to rupture her enemies' eardrums. Ever since Solstice joined and slowly rose to the top, she has more or less remained in the same place because of the obvious weaknesses and downsides in her power, creating tension (and jealousy on Misuto's side) between the two wizards.

"I went on my own, didn't I? And as soon as I accepted, word should have gone out to the other guilds. So of course I didn't need help. What do you take me for?" Everyone in the guildhall stilled and not-so-subtly edged away from the two wizards. She kind of felt bad for telling a white lie like that, but they couldn't know that Fairy Tail was involved. "I don't have time for this. I'm leaving."

"You have somewhere to be?"

Solstice glared. "Actually, I do. So if you'll excuse me." She turned sharply and walked out.

* * *

Solstice fingered through the vials of ingredients sitting on her kitchen table, eyes still bleary from sleep. Seven of the vials were nearly empty, and three were completely unoccupied.

"I need more sea holly and energy lacrimas and most of the basic herbs need topping up, and..." The rest of her sentence dissolved into incoherent mumbling as she snapped her fingers and typed in everything she needed to buy. It has been months since she got back from Galuna, and from how she checked in a few times life was good there. Now, to the task at hand. Most could be procured at the local apothecary shop, but the lacrimas would have to be bought in Magnolia. She sighed. It would be preferable to get everything at the usual time on the first Thursday of the month, but melting the lacrimas and infusing their energy to potions took a lot of time. It would be too late to finish them on time for another mission. She sighed again and pulled down a messenger bag from the hook by her door, swinging it over her shoulder to have it rest by her hip.

"Let's get this over with. Damn, this is such a pain..."

Heading to the train station, she bought a ticket and stepped into the car, sitting down with a yawn. Magnolia wasn't far from where her guild was, so she got off relatively quickly and started to head toward the lacrima shop. She was staring at the setting sun, trying to gauge the time, when she felt it. The hair on the back of her neck stood.

What the hell... A discharge of Celestial magic? The girl at Fairy Tail isn't strong enough to let out that much power in one go... And there aren't any more known Celestial wizards, so what...?
