Jaehwa grew up in Busan, South Korea. She has a younger brother, and a mom and dad. She grew up in a 'picture perfect' family, even if everything wasn't so perfect. Her dad started drinking, so her mom took the kids and left. The rest of the family moved to Daegu, and Jaehwa's mom found a new husband. Now jaehwa has a younger step sister [age 9], and she takes care of her when her mom and step-dad aren't home.
