Four months later

It's been four months since everything happened. We brought it to court and all our files and information were accepted and proven to be true.

Marian was proven guilty and was sentenced to a couple years in jail. After a few months, her husband pulled some strings and paid the bail and she was free to go.

Once it started it was everywhere. The news, magazines, tabloids, newspapers, blogs. Everyone knew everything.

There were so much titles and headlines that made it seem like a movie or something.

Of course we soon announced about Jace's real identity.

Once Marian was proven guilty headlines became about her too.

Once we got the name back, well obviously it was everywhere as well.

Of course with me dating Jake, he was dragged into it as well.

Aside from that, everything's been going smoothly. Everything has been transferred under my name.

After talking with Jace about the company, he decided that I should be the one to run it; that the title of CEO should be under my name.

That is was rightfully mine.

He still had Fox Industries to run and he couldn't just give that up, well cause there's no one to give it to and his adoptive parents entrusted it to him. Although he said he could handle the two companies, I thought that it was gonna be too much for him. He agreed to help me out since I'm new to it.

The company is actually his, cause he's the first born; but since we thought he was dead, dad signed it to me and Jace thought that it was a good decision to let me run the company.

After I made Marian and Victor move out, I took everything out of the storage rooms and placed them back to where they belonged.

I put our family portrait back up on the wall in the living room on top of the chimney. I put all the pictures back up on the walls and on bookshelves and tables. All my mother's collection of unique furniture were back where they belonged.

I took out and sold all the remaining things of Marian and Victor. All the expensive, unwanted and not needed furniture was sold. I donated all the money I gained from that to charities and orphanages.

I finally went back to my room. I got all my stuff from the storage room that couldn't fit in my small room and placed it all back in my suite where they belong.

I also got rid of all of Victor's stupid things. I got all of Jace's stuff and put it back there, even his toys. I figured that he wanted to see his room like the last time he was in there.

It took time, but the mansion was back to normal; like the time when mom and dad were still around.

When Jace came he was very emotional. I gave him some time alone as he roamed the house, his old home. He she's some tears seeing pictures and going into rooms with memories. He skipped work for two days so he could get a hold of his self and his emotional state. He stayed over for two weeks straight till he needed to go back to his condo and continue his work there. He visited everyday though, and I was more than happy that he did.

I stayed of course and Jake would come visit. He would sometimes sleepover too. Obviously we wouldn't sleep in the same bed. We weren't in that stage yet. At first he slept in the guest room, but he got tired of switching rooms, so he decided to sleep in mine. He slept on the sofa which could be turned into a bed.

We're taking our relationship slow since I wanted to. He respected that and I was grateful.

The sofa was actually turned into his permanent bed. Actually, the last couple of months he's been staying with me more than he's been staying in his condo or his home. He even leaves some clothes and stuff here and brings his work here as well. I was completely alright with that. I honestly didn't wanna be alone in this huge mansion.

We hired back a lot of the maids and employees that I grew up with and they were more than happy to come back and live and work in the mansion again. Of course Mike was still here.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Mike's married. His wife has been in Dakota for the last couple of years since they didn't have enough money to actually live here together since Marian only allowed those who actually work in the house to sleep in the barracks. I could tell it was hard because they could only communicate through the phone. So, I thought I'd surprise them both. I was more than happy to pay for her ticket and ship all their stuff here. Maggie's been living with us for two months now, and I haven't seen Mike any happier.

I fired him as my driver and appointed him as the chief of everyone in the house so he didn't need to go and drive me everywhere; well he's the chief of every male that is. Maggie was in charge of the women and maids. She was in charge of the cleaning and cooking and other stuff, and Mike was in charge of ordering the males to do the harder chores, such as mow our huge backyard, cut the bushes, clean the cars, clean the gutter and other chores.

I've been going to work a lot lately. The name and logo was officially turned back to it's original name, Maxfield Corporation. It's been really hard and stressful cause I had to read and review all of our branches and businesses and everything that Marian did. Turns out she had so many errors that I just wanted to pull my hair out.

Jake's company has been doing good lately too, so he would pop by most of the time and help me with my work when Jace can't.

Speaking of Jace. He's been really busy with Fox Industries. They're opening a lot of different branches and talking to different investors. He's been traveling lately and could barley visit, but he always calls or Skype's with me for at least fifteen to thirty minutes. He would always check up on me from time to time and I would do the same to him. He's just glad that Jake's here to take care and look after me when he's not around.

My relationship with Jake has been going great. We haven't kissed though and he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet, but I wasn't in a hurry and neither was he. We just enjoyed our time together, either during our free time or at work. We would go to his lake house and stay the night or two from time to time to relax. We've been going on a lot of dates, either it be out or just stay in and watch a movie together or fool around and act like kids.

My life has been going well and I couldn't be happier. I have my home back, Maxfield Corporation, I got my brother back and I'm dating a really great guy.
