Confession to Make

Sabrina sits on her couch with her right arm around Jade's shoulder. She kisses her forehead and smiles at her. Suddenly there is a knock at the door and Sabrina gets up. She goes to the door and opens it to reveal Ash. Jade walks up behind Sabrina and wraps her arms around Sabrina. Ash looks at Jade and his eyes go wide.
"Sabrina! She is back and she is trying to kill you!" Ash points at Jade. Sabrina laughs and turns to Jade.
"Do you intend to kill me? Sabrina turns towards Jade.
"Most definitely," Jade gives Sabrina a kiss and then goes back to the couch.
"What happened. I haven't been here in a month and you two are a thing?" Ash rubs his temple.
"It's complicated," Sabrina heads inside and gets everyone water. Ash sits in an arm chair. Sabrina sits down next to Jade and explains everything.
"Also my house burnt down the same night the symbols showed up. About the same time I got the symbol," Jade smiles as she rests her head on Sabrina's shoulder.
"So you two have been living together ever since? Here? And I wasn't told?" Ash sighs as Sabrina nods her head.
"Any more questions?" Sabrina asks.
"Have you two done any-" Ash starts to ask.
"No more questions? Good. Now for the reason I asked you to come here. We are planning another attack," Sabrina looks down and Jade's sleeping face.
"Where is the hit?" Ash looks at Jade, "can she be trusted?"
"Of course she can!" Sabrina starts to raise her voice, "listen here, Ash. You will not question her anymore. You will not doubt her. You will not disrespect her. Do you understand me?"
"Yes Sabrina," Ash looks down in embarrassment.
"Good," Sabrina looks at Jade. Jade's smile hasn't left her face and she still appears to be asleep.
"One question," Ash looks up, "I know you explained your visions, but why trust someome who tried to kill you?"
"Because I love her. That's why," Sabrina's eyes shine as she looks up at Ash, "I've never loved anyone like I have loved her."
"You do? This isn't just your visions speaking is it?" Ash raises his head slightly.
"I do. This is more than just my visions speaking," Sabrina smiles as she looks down at Jade.
"Prove it then," Jade looks up at Sabrina and smiles, "because I love you too, but I need you to prove to me that you do."
"Okay," Sabrina says as her eyes close and she clasps her hands together. She blows into them and a strange black cloud blows away from her hands. She pulls one hand away and closes her other. When she opens it, a black ring with rubies and diamonds as jewels rests in her palm. She holds it out to Jade, "just a promise from me to you."
"It is so beautiful," Jade takes it and puts it on her ring finger on her left hand. The ring shrinks down to the proper size on her finger, "it is so light too. I love it. Thank you for proving it."
"Of course. Now Ash can stop his questions," Sabrina plants a kiss on Jade's cheek and looks at Ash, "now let's plan an attack."
