Tonight

"Just tell me....I'm willing to break that string" 

Mina remembers exactly how Jeongyeon said those words. It's gentle yet full of determination and sincerity. Mina is starting to realize why alot of girls are interested with Jeongyeon. She really deserves that Girl Crush title.

She can't even count how many times Jeongyeon made her heart flutter. Jeongyeon isn't the clingy type but whenever she iniciate skinships she always do in the most subtle way as possible making sure that she didn't make her uncomfortable.

Mina looked at her phone smiling at her wallpaper which is a compilation of Jeongyeon's pictures doing funny faces. Jeongyeon was the one who changed it she said that she wanted Mina to see it everytime she look at her phone to keep her smiling.

"Mina?" Momo called peeking at the door.

"Oh? You need something?" Mina asked.

Mina wasn't really avoiding Momo she just realized that what Jeongyeon and Sana said was right, her world shouldn't revolve around Momo. Those past few weeks that she spent with Jeongyeon made her realized that there's a lot of fun things to do. That she shouldn't just follow Momo around.

"Well, I just thought that maybe you want to go to this new restaurant nearby? They have jokbal and yukhoe" Momo said nervously but manage not to stutter.

'Consider her feelings'  

"I mean if only you want to but if you don't want to go out it's alright." Momo said in panic. Maybe she's being selfish again, not thinking that Mina isn't the type of person who likes to go out.

"Sure. I'll just change my clothes." Mina said with a smile as she stood up and walk to her closet.

"I'll wait for you outside." Momo said excitedly.

It's been a long time when they last hangout together and Momo doesn't want to waste time. She wanted to make the most of it because she's not sure when will she ever had this chance again.

Tonight is different, it's not about Momo, it's all about Mina instead. They ate Mina's favorite foods, went to arcade, bought some clothes from her favorite stores. Momo is way beyond happy to see Mina enjoying this night with her. Tonight, she realized the power of one's smile. She must have been greedy again but she only want to be the reason beyond Mina's smiles. They walked together holding each other's hand with a content smile on their faces. 

"Momo unnie, Thank you for tonight." Mina said as soon as they reached their home.

"No, Thank you." Momo said smiling at her warmly.

"I-I'm going to my room now." Mina said waiting for Momo to release her hand but Momo held it tighter instead.

"Can I ask you a question?." Momo was so nervous but desperately needed answers and Mina knows it by looking at Momo's expressions.

"Sure"

"Do you like Jeongyeon more than me?" Mina wasn't that surprised at that question but surprised that finally, Momo have the guts to ask her that kind of question.

The question made Mina think, does she like Jeongyeon more than Momo?. The two are very different in their own way. They treat her differently too.

Jeongyeon might have the chic vibes but actually warm. Jeongyeon is the kind of girl who pushes you to the edge but falls with you. Mina can't count how many times Jeongyeon made her do funny and weird things but always backs her up when she feels uncomfortable or embarrassed. For Mina, Jeongyeon is like her Savior, her knight in shining armor who always there saving her.

Momo on the other hand, was the sweet one. Momo never hesitates to show others how much she values them. She's always been the cute one who always gives warm hugs and soft kisses. But that was before, things are very different now. Momo was just like the Princess Charming in her fantasy.

"Mina?" Momo called interrupting her thoughts, anticipating for her answer.

"A-as of now, it's Jeongyeon unnie" Mina answered looking down. It's the truth though. She's been closer with Jeongyeon.

"I see.." Momo sighed deeply. Mina wasn't sure what that sigh means but all she knows is that there's a lot of things going on Momo's mind.

"Mitang.." Momo voice sounded so fragile which made Mina nervous.

"Hmm?." She hummed in response. She felt Momo held her hand tighter.

"I know what you feel about me."

The car was filled with silence. Jihyo was already sleeping soundly at the backseat, Jeongyeon was driving and Nayeon was on the passenger seat looking outside thinking of what to say. 

After going at the karaoke hub, they decided to go for a road trip. It wasn't that much but enough for all of them to have fun. They ate snacks, sing some random songs, joking around and have some serious talk from time to time. 

"You've been hanging out with Mina alot lately" Nayeon started as she noticed Jeongyeon's black swan necklace and penguin phone case.

"I like hanging out with her. It feels like I've found someone who can really understand me." Jeongyeon said with a smile on her face.

"Someone who can really understand you?" Nayeon asked confused.

"Mina means alot to me. It may sound cheesy but, Mina saved me. There are alot of times when I almost gave up but she's there holding on to me, believing that I am strong and I can face any problem." Jeongyeon said with a smile on her face.

"Despite of our differences Mina never judged me and just let me be who I am whenever I'm with her." She continued.

Nayeon understands her now, Jeongyeon was always been the tough one but Nayeon and Jihyo knows that she's actually the fragile one. For her to let down her walls and let Mina save her is really something. 

Jeongyeon and Mina had been in a same situation and Nayeon knows that. She thought that Jeongyeon was overprotective when it comes to Mina because she can see herself in Mina but tonight, she realized that she's wrong. Mina is something more than that. Jeongyeon values her more than anyone could imagine. Mina broke down the walls that Jeongyeon built and let Jeongyeon be whoever she wanted to be. 

She accepted and loved every piece of Jeongyeon. The messed up one, the loud and crazy, the sincere and emotional. Mina saw every side of Jeongyeon even the worst one yet she stayed beside her. Something that Nayeon once did. 

"Jeongyeon ah.. She's for keeps.." Nayeon said with a sad smile. Jeongyeon can feel the sincerity on Nayeon's voice. She smiled back and just focused on driving unsure of what to feel.

Nayeon wasn't really sure if it's just her or the night was extremely quiet. All that she can hear is, the sound of her heart slowly breaking into pieces.

Two chapters left. Anyways, there will be a Book 2.
