Skylar tapped her foot as she waited at the gate. She got a email last night that a new skateboarding competition was taking place. Of course she excepted. The wind changed, and it was her time to go.
She slipped her earbuds into her ears and pressed the shuffle icon on her phone. To her surprise Mansae started playing. A chuckle escaped her lips.
She faintly heard her boarding group being called over the music and got up. After she found her seat she opened the messaging and sent a text before turning off her phone and gazing out the window.
Miles away Joshua's phone dinged signifying a message. He opened his phone and saw a text from Skylar.
Hey baby bro! The winds have changed again. It's time for me to go now! Good luck with upcoming promotions and get yourself a man! Cya when the winds change.
