A month later ~ Johanna POV

"You ready?" I ask Clove, who's stood across the room dressed in black denim shorts and a crimson strap top. "Sure am!" She exclaims. I envy her; she's so organised. Ever since we arranged this holiday I've been bloody stressing to the point where it gets to 5 minutes before we about to go to the airport and I'm not packed fully. We're all going to the Caribbean for a holiday. Seeing as Cato was able to coax Clove into getting over her extreme phobia of water, we were able to book a hot place where swimming would be our main priority. "Hey calm down jo, why don't you just check your list again I'm sure you have everything," she suggests, gladly helping me as I run my hand over the paper, muttering the items under my breath. She checks them as I say them and eventually we get to the end, not missing anything. What would I do without her. Suddenly, a knock startles the both of us. Clove smiles,

"it must be Cato,"

Grabbing as much as we can carry, we stumble down the stairs. I can tell Clove is struggling with the weight she's carrying – she's only small. "You good Clove?"

"Yeah," she gasps, but I can see the bag slowly slipping from her fingers. "You sure? I can take something,"

"I'm fine Jo," she sounds slightly aggravated.

"Sorry,"

"It's ok, you just wanted to help,"

"Hurry up it's freezing out here!" Yells Cato from outside. Clove giggles, "we're coming!" All of a sudden, the bag slips from her grasp suddenly, smashing into her foot before tumbling down the stairs. "Ow!" She yelps in agony, and begins to lose a grip of her balance. "Clove!" I yell desperately as she topples down the remaining stairs, the bags crushing on to her. "Guys!?" Shouts Cato, impatient. Clove yelps again and her small frame goes limp under the bags. Her bony hand – coated in crimson liquid - falls to her side. Rushing as quickly as possible, I dump the bags, rushing over to her. "Clove... clove..." I gingerly remove the bags, careful not to harm her further. "Johanna, Clove, what's going on!" Cato bangs on the door lightly. "Hang on a sec Cato," I yell in desperation. As I remove the bags, I notice a vile gash on her head, mushed with sticky blood. She's awake, but dazed. "Clove? Clove what hurts?" I ask, frantically. She gulps and I help her to a sitting position slowly. Her breaths are quick and frantic and the colour is rapidly draining from her. The energy has been sucked from her; she's not even reacting to the pain anymore. "Lie down, lie down Clove!" I instruct, guiding her to the floor. I don't know what to do. "Let me in Jo!" Screeches Cato, I'm not sure he is aware of the situation. Sighing, I fumble with the lock, hands sweating. Cato bursts in instantly, "finally," he laughs. His face drops instantly as he's sees Clove, rushing over to her as I did. "Clove! What happened!?" He stutters, examining her with glassy eyes. "She fell," I reply, my voice small. "We need to call 911; now!" He exclaims weakly, as I rush for the phone. "Its gonna be ok Clover, don't worry, I've got you," he mutters gently, stroking her hair.

Finnick POV

Frustrated, I fold my arms, pacing up and down. Our flight is in less than 2 hours and Cato, Clove and Johanna haven't bothered to show up; or answered any of our calls. "If they don't bloody turn up within the next 5 minutes we're checking in," I announce, not wishing to ruin our holiday. "Agreed," mutters Peeta, who's face is expressionless. I sigh; I never wanted this fuss, all I wanted was to have a nice calm trip there. Annie's scared to death of flying as it is, we don't need all this delaying; she'll just end up getting herself worked up. I avert my gaze to her – she seems flustered already. I wrap my arm around her gently, pulling her to my side. "It's gonna be ok Annie, I promise," I sigh, stroking her hair. Suddenly, a ring rips through the silence, startling us all. It comes from Katniss's phone. "Johanna, It's Johanna!" She shrieks, swiftly answering and pulling it to her ear. She listens intently for about 20 seconds, her face transforming to anxiety very quickly. Peeta rubs her shoulder soothingly. "I... is she ok?" She stutters. "Oh... ok..." her eyes are glistening now, what could've happened? "Thanks Johanna," she finishes. All the rest of us are fidgeting around and as soon as she puts the phone down, I question, "what happened?"

Katniss folds her arms, "Clove had an accident – she fell down the stairs and broke her ankle and got a concussion – Johanna said she can get out in 2 days at the earliest – she told us to go ahead and they'll get a flight over when Clove is better," Everyone falls silent for a minute or two, before Annie breaks it. "I hope Clove is ok,"

"Me too,"

"Same,"

"I think we all do," I finish,

"Well I guess we better get checking in then," I state, glumly. And with that we all begin slowly making our way towards the check in desks, in dead silence. This wasn't how it was meant to be. It won't be the same; I just hope she'll be ok.

Clove POV

My eyes flutter open slowly as I take in my surroundings. Wow. I'm in the hospital again. Gingerly, I touch my forehead, which stings lightly.

I feel a hand on mine and trace it to Cato, who looks more handsome than ever with his tussled blonde hair.

I squeeze his hand lightly which somehow wakes him. "Clove!" He whispers, his face lighting up. My small hand finds his cheek as he leans over, planting a kiss on my forehead. "How you feeling?" He asks, concerned. "I'm ok, but my head hurts..." I trail off, recalling what happened. Wait.. the holiday! What about the holiday! "Cato, did we miss the flight!? What about our holiday," my breaths are quickening. "Hey Clover... calm down. We're gonna catch a flight over when you're better, ok," he reassures, squeezing my hand. I smile, gazing into his alluring azure eyes. Suddenly, a doctor strolls in and smiles as he sees me awake. "Clove! You're awake! I have some good news for you!"

"What?" Cato asks.

"Well, you're actually free to go! We've ran some tests and your concussion is ok now, you're head may ache slightly for a while but we will give you medication for that. You will need crutches for you're ankle as it's broken, and that may take a while to heal, but apart from that your ok!"

Cato gasps in relief, kissing my cheek. The doctor hands him the crutches and medicine and I push myself to a seating position, eagerly accepting the crutches. "Hey.. slow down Clover," he laughs, wrapping his arm around me. I lean my body weight on him for support, which doesn't seem to affect him much. "Thanks," I mutter to the doctor on the way out. As we exit the hospital, the wind engulfs us refreshingly, whipping my chocolate coloured hair. "Hey, I spoke to Johanna and she says we can get on a flight first thing tomorrow morning if your up for it," I smile at him, meeting his soft azure eyes. "Of course I'm up for it, I'd never want to ruin such an amazing holiday," He leans down, kissing my head, "you could never ruin anything Clover."
