IRENE'S POV

I opened my eyes as I heard my phone rang, it's already evening. I pick it up and unlocked it.

Save it. It's me Seulgi.

I groaned in frustration as I read the message. She won't leave me alone.

To: Bitch

Look, Leave.Me.Alone. Let's just forget that night and act as strangers.

I sent it and got up. I let out a heavy sigh before I heard loud knocks on my door.

"Irene, open this door we need to talk" I lazily got up and opened the door.

"Mom.." I mumbled.

"Can I come in?" I just nodded.

"Irene, you've been a messed. If you're Dad will know this—"

"Mom, please.."

She sighed heavily.

"I'm just worried, you're our only heiress."

"Don't worry about that, I'll be your heiress, yes I am a stubborn kid but I know my responsibilities" I said went out of my room. I went down and I almost tripped when I saw my Dad on the couch talking to someone.

"Oh, Irene. Come here, I want you to meet someone." Dad said. I went to them and smiled.

"Seulgi, this is my daughter.. Irene. You two met each other before when you're just a kid. Irene, Seulgi is my co-worker's daughter. I don't know if you remember her father but he usually gives you candies." Dad said. Seulgi walks closer to me and offered her hand.

"It's nice to meet you Irene. I hope we can be friends" She said and smiled. I gritted my teeth.

"Yeah, I hope too" I said and rolled my eyes.

"Irene! Be nice to her, I'm sorry Seulgi. Irene is a little bit stubborn sometimes" Dad said. She smirked and look at me.

"Yeah, I can say that Mr. Bae but it's fine.. I'm sure Irene can be tame easily, right?" She said looking at me teasingly. I gulped and averted my gaze.

"I'll leave you two, I have something to do. Irene, don't be a rude towards Seulgi, she's a nice person" He said and left.

Yeah, nice, if you just know.

"Leave, like literally just like what I messaged you.. please" I said and turned my back at her but she quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me to her.

"I can't... You already caught me." She whispered looking at my lips. My eyes widened and I pushed her.

I quickly run to my bedroom and locked it. I closed my eyes tightly as I pant.

All of those that happened that night came back.

Flashback...

I played some music as I drove off very fast. I was already in the middle of my way when I noticed a police car following me out of nowhere. I cursed inside my head and pulled over for a stop.

The car pulled over behind mine. A police woman went out from the car and went on my side.

I let my windows down and smiled.
