"Just like that? You just read my res-" Captain Singh raised his hand to cut the girl off. "It's valid. You've got what it takes to be A CSI. I believe we already have a desk set up for you in the lab. If you want you can start setting up." Captain told her. The girl nodded and stood up. She grabbed her bag and the box with her CSI equipment. "Thank you Captain." She nodded. "Oh and Ms. Prince. I'll do what you asked before. And you also have a partner." Captain said nodding to her. "Who?" The girl asked. "Barry. Barry Allen." The girl nodded and then left the room. She climbed up the steps and found the lab. She let her brown eyes travel the room as she her set stuff down on an empty desk. "Okay Ashley. Your in Central City with a job that should help. It'll be fine." Ashley said to herself. No one was in the room so she quickly opened up the box and set up the desk how she wanted. She finished in a few minutes and placed the box in a shelf with other boxes. Ashley than sat down and opened her laptop, and started typing things.
Barry Allen I nodded to Joe who was walking towards me. "Captain told me you've got a surprise up in your lab." Joe said nodding to Caitlin and Cisco who were behind Barry, "why are you two here?" "They're here to look through some files on metahuman cases." I explained and all four us started walking to my lab, "and if Singh gave me a surprise? The world is ending." Joe shook his head smiling. "It can't be that bad." Caitlin said. Barry gave her a glance and Cisco ran ahead. "It can be that- Uhh.." Cisco said from up ahead. He was staring into the lab. I shared a look with Joe and ran up to him. I saw a girl with her laptop open, and going through some files. "Hello?" I said and the girl looked up. Her brown eyes travel to all of us. "I'm not sure which one of you is Barry Allen..but I'm guessing it's not her, and not the cop." The girl spoke standing up. She walked around her desk and leaned back onto it. "I'm Barry." I said walking into my lab. "What are you doing in his lab?" Caitlin asked. "It's OUR lab now sweetheart." The girl said. "Our?" Cisco repeated. The girl turned to me and I looked at her outfit. She had dark blue jeans with black boots on. Her top was a light gray, but she wore a black leather jacket over. Her black hair was open, and fell down to her mid back. The black was dyed purple near the ends. "My name Is Ashley. Ashley Prince." Ashley said extending her hand, "and I'm your new partner, and the new CSI." I smiled and shook her hand. "Make yourself at home!" I said extending my arms out and turning around. Ashley smiled softly and rolled her eyes playfully. She then looked at Joe who was looking at her confused. "Don't be so shocked detective." Ashley said, "not all good people have to dress like angels."
