Fiance

Days had passed. No one said a word to Ashley Raven Prince that they knew of who Brent Larson was. Brent had been popping up at CCPD every now and then, just to get yelled at by Ashley.
Barry has gotten better. He still felt a slight ache, but he could walk.
Right now Barry and Ashley were at CCPD in their lab.
"Brent Larson get your ass out of this Lab!" Ashley yelled as Brent walked in.
"Not today." Brent growled.
Ashley stood up and walked up to him. Barry watched from his desk as Brent stared her right in the eye.
"Your Uncles looking for you." Brent spat.
Ashley narrowed her eyes.

"You have to come back Ash. You ran away! And you haven't even told anyone about what you did other than my father. Sadly he agrees with your damned decision!" Brent said.
"Your father new just as much of a bitch you were. I am not anything to you. And I'm not coming back. Now. If you'll excuse me. I have work to do." Ashley replied.
Brent fumed. "Allen. Could you please leave." He spat.
Ashley looked at Barry as he left the room his eyes on her.
"What is it- GAH!" Ashley yelped as Brent struck her face.
Brent smirked at Ashley's horrified face and grabbed her.
"Your coming back My Love. And we are getting married." Brent said.
Ashley shook her head and tried to move but Brent held her in place and pulled her closer.
Barry walked in just as Brent kissed Ashley making her yell.
Barry froze. He Mind was mixing with emotions that he couldn't process.
Ashley pushed away her eyes had tears in them, and there was a red mark in her face.
"Ash!?" Barry shrieked as he saw her face.
"Barry." Ashley said as he ran over and hugged her.
"What the hell did you do?" Barry yelled.
"I kissed my fiancé." Brent answered.
"I AM NOT YOUR FIANCÉ! NOT ANYMORE!"
Ashley screamed.

She punched Brent and watched him leave fuming. Ashley then fell to her knees and started sobbing.
"Ashley...we all knew who he was. And that you were..." Barry trailed off.
"Then why didn't you get rid of him." Ashley said bluntly as he bent down beside her.
"I don't know. I thought we were something. And then I find out your supposed to be getting married." Barry said.
"We did have something Allen. I called off my engagement after my mother died. I was only engaged to him because it made her happy. When she died I called it off." Ashley explained.
Barry made her stand and embraced her in a hug. They pulled away and Barry's eyes traveled to the red mark on her face.
"It's nothing Barry." Ashley said.
"He struck you Ash." Barry growled.
"Yeah. And I punched him." Ashley added.
Barry smiled and kissed her forehead lightly.
"Let's head to Star Labs."

So heading to Star Labs wasn't the best idea at the time.
When they got into the Cortex and explained it the others what happened, Iris and Caitlin started freaking out over the mark which had gotten worse. Cisco and Stein were still working on breachs and having to know Ashley has gotten hit, was not helping. Joe wasn't here, neither was Harry or Jay.
"Guys stop!" Ashley yelled.
"But-"
Caitlin was cut off by Ashley's phone ringing. Ashley picked up the phone and looked at the caller ID.
"All if you shut up don't say a word." Ashley said and then answered the phone
"H-Hey..." She said.
"You better have a good reasoning Ashley!" The man in the other end said.
"I...I need time. I don't want it. Not yet." Ashley said receiving question glances.
"Ash...I understand what happened that night was tragic but...you can't run from your birthright." The man said calmly.
"I don't want it as my birth right! Give the damn title of CEO to Your daughter!" Ashley spat and then cut the call sighing.
"What?" Everyone said.
"My uncle called. Wants me to come back to Gotham." Ashley explained and walked over to Barry holding his hand.
Barry smiled softly and put his arm around her shoulder pulling her in closer.
"Okay! We found it!!" Cisco yelled as Joe, Harry, and Jay walked in.
"Found what?" Joe asked.
"The breaches." Stein exclaimed.
"Great! Now we can figure out a way to close them." Jay praises.
"Yeah there's just one problem." Cisco said.
"What's That Ramon?" Harry asked.
"There's not only one breach..." Cisco started.
"There fifty-two" stein finished.
"FIFTY TWO?" Iris said in shock
Ashley pressed her lips tightly as shock ran through her.

"And the biggest one." Stein said.
"Is right here!" Cisco revealed.
Barry shared a look with Ashley and then followed the two scientists out of the room along with everyone else.
They got to the basement and found nothing.
"There's Nothing here." Caitlin said.
Ashley walked forward and her eyes landed on the middle of the room.
She could sense the breach. She could feel it.
"It's right there. Right in front of us. It's not open so we can't see it." She said turning to the others.
"We'll do that." Stein said looking at Cisco who nodded.
The rest left the basement to the two nerds and went to the Cortex.
"If we open the breach. Will we be able to use it to bounce between the two Earths Like Zoom?" Ashley asked.
"Yes. But we need to stop Zoom. I came here in Hope Barry could rid Zoom, Unlike Jay. Seems I was wrong." Harry said bluntly.
"Barry tried his best! He did a mistake with taking Zoom on!" Caitlin defended.
"Plus, Zooms to fast." Barry said.
Harry rolled his eyes and looked at Jay.
"Well. Having him as your teacher isn't helping." He said.
"Your not helping either!" Jay argued.
Harry left before an argument broke out and Jay sighed.
"Jay. Come with me for a while." Caitlin said kindly.
Jay smiled and nodded. He took her hand and they left the room.
"Has Cisco round anything on Wells yet?" Joe asked.
"I don't know. He didn't tell me anything." Barry shrugged.
Ashley looked down and took a breath.
"You okay?" Iris asked.
"I'm fine." Ashley said, "just tired."
"Do you want me to drop you home?" Barry asked.
"I'll go by myself." Ashley said.
"after Zoom and Brent? Yeah..No." Barry said.
He grabbed her and sped out the room. Barry dropped Ashley outside her door and laughed at her flustered face.
"Well then." Ashley said.
She turned and opened the door leading into a massive room. The room had full length windows overview go the city. The front room was furnished and clean, and a huge kitchen and dinining room. There were other doors that led into bathrooms, a gym, the massive balcony with a jacuzzi, the indoor pool, and bedrooms.
"You've been holding out!" Barry said as he closed the door behind him.
Ashley let out a laugh and let her eyes wander the Flat.
"Yeah well. It's big for one. But it reminded me of home. So I bought it." Ashley said.
"You live alone?" Barry asked.
"Mhmm. I don't really mind. I have a bunch of neighbors who are super nice. And now I have you all." Ashley said smiling.
Barry pulled her closer and smiled down at her.
"I'm glad your part of the team Ash. We can stop more Metahumans, and Zoom." Barry said.
"When you say stop meta humans. Do you mean..like every single one in the city. Like locking them up?" Ashley asked.
"Just the bad ones. And until we find a way to help the dangerous ones." Barry frowned.
Ashley nodded and cleared her throat.
"I'm a head off now." Barry said.
He kissed her cheek and opened the door to leave.
"Later Barr." She said
Barry waved and sped off.
Ashley closed the door and cussed.
"What are you doing Ash." She said to herself, "are you trying to kill them all?!"
