Haley's POV
"Maybe one day you should get off your lazy ass" Mabel said while she shoved popcorn in her mouth.
Mabel was the type of friend that had no filter once so ever but it's nice to have a friend like that sometimes.
Key word sometimes.
"Look at you you're literally shoving popcorn down your throat while watching stupid movies and your calling me a lazy ass?" I said while getting up off my bed to unplug my phone from the tiny charger it was on.
"Well at least I-" she was cut off by my obnoxious ringtone on my phone going off to indicate I got a call. I looked down to she the name 'mom'.
"Sorry I have to take this" I whispered to Mabel. I see her groan probably because I interrupted her, I clicked on the accept button on my phone.
"Hey mom what's up" I said acting peppy and like I've been up all day when in reality I woke up 15 minutes ago and it's already 12:36pm.
"Hey hun, umm I just wanted to call and tell you that you remember your old friend Shawn? The one you were really close with until he started music?" Of course I remember him he left my life without even saying.
"Yeah, of course I do I considered him as my best friend for a long time"
"Well he contacted me and asked if you wanted to go on his tour because he wanted to see you and he felt like you guys could connect again" my jaw dropped. Going on tour again with my old best friend, Mabel could tell by the look on my face she could tell I got big news.
"Wait he actually wants me to go on tour with him? Like on tour were I would be away from here for awhile?" I said still I shock.
"Yes Hailey" My mom said done with me already.
"Sure I guess" I still don't know how to react to this.
"Okay I'll tell him you'll have to leave in like a week okay? Love you!" My mom said hanging up before I could say goodbye.
Looks like I'm going to travel the world with my old best friend. —— Hello welcome to my new book! I actually am gonna try and finish this one lmao anyways more is gonna come! Also they will be around 1000 words a chapter this is just to give the basic idea of the story.
