-JACE'S P.O.V.-

"You what! Why would you kiss her!" Xavier yelled at me.

"Don't yell at me"

"Jace, why would you kiss her"

"I don't know"

Actually I did know, when we were arguing she looked so hot the way she was with the buttoned up shirt, her hair was a bit messy. The way she looked just made me fell things. So I couldn't resistce and I kissed her. I didn't realize what I had done unil she slapped me.

"What are you planning on doing with her?" I looked up from my desk to see Stella walk in. She had showered and was looking better. She walked over and sat across from me.

"What do you mean"

"What I mean Jace is what are you going to do with Destiny, Alec has no interest in her, he just wants her because you have her, but there isn't any reason why she should stay with us"

"Something about her tells me she's hiding something"

"If it's about that cop I talked to her about it. She didn't tell me who he was but she cares about him a lot"

"Her boyfriend" Xavier stated looking at me "Or brother"

"If that's the case then why would they hide her information. This doesn't make ssence. Hector's mom is working for the police and his informatin isn't hidden" I said looking at them.

"Why don't you call her, she may know something"

I pulled out my phone and called Carlie, Hector's mom.

"Hello, Jace is everything okay"

"Yes, sorry tobother so you late at night, but I wanted to aks you something"

"What is it son"

"Who was the person that ordered Destiny to be transferred to a safe house"

"Diego, a detective"

"What's there realationship"

"Im not sure, but I did overhear and Destiny was living with Diego this whole time"

"Are they siblings"

"No, he only has a twin sister but it's not Destiny"

"Carlie, why is her file erased"

She was quiet for a moment but then answered.

"I don't know much about it, but her file was always hidden until recently when they erased her information. They were planning on giving her a new identity once everything settles but things got complicated and now look at where things are"

"Why" I asked.

"The chief has something to do with it, but all I know is they want to find her and make sure she;s okau. Diego kniws she's with you and it's a matter of time before he knows whre you are. Jace it's better to hand her over before anything happens.

"Thank you" I hung up and looked at Xavier and Stella.

"She's not leaving, I'm not going to let her go"

-DESTINY'S P.O.V.-

"Let me go!" I screamed banging the door. It's been a week since I;ve been locked in my room. I get food but not my freedom. Stella comes once in a while but nothing. I can't leave. I've thought of jumping but I would get caught by stepping onto the grass. I layed in bed trying to think of a way to escape when Jace walked in. I sat up and looked at him. He was really handsome, any girl would fall for him, but with that type of attitude and the way he has me locked up made me want to slap him.
