-JACE'S P.O.V.-
~One Year Later~
"Destiny, come on babe we have to go or we're going to be late"
I looked at my watch, we're already ten minutes late.
"I'm sorry"
I turned around hearing her voice. I smiled at her before hugging her. She hugged me placing her head on my chest.
"It's okay, but are you ready or do you need more time?"
"No, I think I'm ready"
"Good because we're already ten minutes late"
I held her hand as we walked downstairs heading to the car when she stopped making me turn around and look at her.
"What? Are you okay?"
"Jace..." I looked at her confused before looking down at her shoes seeing the liquid fall down her legs.
"Shit out baby is coming"
"Jace!!! Jace!!! Get the bag and let's head to the hospital"
"Okay, umm wait here, wait no you need to go to the car. Shit wait!! Hector!!! Hector where are you!!"
"What! What's with all the yelling?! Oh shit Des your water broke"
"Hector get her nursery bag in the babies room and meet me in the hospital, I need to take her"
I held her close to me as we made our way to the car before placing her lightly and driving to the hospital, or more like speeding. I looked at her as she tried controlling her breathing. My phone began ringing, it was Diego.
"Jace, you guys almost here, the foods going to get cold..."
"It broke!!" I yelled not realizing what I said.
"What?"
"Shit Diego we can't go..."
"Diego your nephew is coming!!" Destiny yelled at him before screaming.
"My nephew? Oh you're going into labor?! Gio!! We'll meet you at the hospital"
"Hector will give you the address, call him"
I hung up before pressing on the gas. Either the breves we're getting to me but this baby was making me nervous. I pulled into the hospital driveway before running to Destiny's side helping her out the car and into the hospital.
"My girlfriend is giving birth and I need Doctor Roberts here!!"
They rushed to her bring her a wheel chair before taking her to the maternity rooms. I followed them close by not wanting to let her go.
-DESTINY'S P.O.V.-
I felt the pain rush through my body, I couldn't handle it anymore. I looked up at the ceiling as my vision became blurry with tears.
"Destiny"
"Jace, it hurts...it hurts a lot"
"I know babe, but the doc said you're not ready yet, just wait a little bit"
"Here, drink this"
I grabbed the water drinking it, thinkning it would help but it only mad things worst, I needed to pee now.
"I need to use the bathroom"
Jace helped me get up before walking me to the bathroom, but I stopped feeling the pain again, it was constant now.
"Jace, I think you need to call the nurse"
"I'll call her"
Gio walked in with Stella but walked out calling for the nurse. Stella walked to me setting me down on the bed.
"You're okay, just breath"
"Stella I don't know how you did it, but wow this baby needs to come out"
"Okay, I think we're ready to get this baby out" Doctor Roberts walked in with four nurses behind him.
Everything suddenly became a mess in the room. The doctor and nurses getting everything ready while Jace sat next to me holding my hand. Outside the room Gio and the rest waited as the doctors rushed by my side. The pain was too much for me but I had to push through.
"One more Destiny, one more and he's out"
I did, just one more, before I noticed the cry of a baby filled the room. I took a breath before looking at Jace, he was crying.
He got up walking to the nurses who were cleaning up our baby. I smiled seeing the both of them. Who would have thought being at the wrong place would lead to a happy ending.
"Want to hold him?" The nurse asked Jace as he nodded holding him close to his chest.
"He looks just like you" He walked to me sitting down as he played with his little nose.
"Here, he wants his mom"
I held him close to me as he began to cry. He looks beautiful, everything about him was perfect. I felt my tears begin to fall down my cheeks.
"Thank you Destiny, thank you for coming into my life and giving me an a amazing gift, our kid, thank you"
"I love you"
"I love you too and you too little Jason"
Life has its ways of throwing surprises at you, and this is something I would have never imagined, falling in love with a gang leader and feeling this way towards him. At last, we're together and happy.
