cheer up buddy pt.1

Hunks POV

Me and lance have been friends since we started the garrison. At first we started talking about how much we missed our families and we realized how much we have in common, ever since then we were buddy through everything. Lately he has been acting weird and I wanna see if I can help him. I really hope I can but we'll see.

"Hey lance " I said as I walked up to him as he sat on the large staircase. " Hey buddy " he said in a depressing tone. I frowned and sat on the stairn next to him. " Is something bothering you?" I ask him as I put my hand on his shoulder. he looked up at me with sad eyes. Me thinking I made it worse I franticly say " You don't have to tell me if you don't want to though. I mean its up to-" He cut me off in the middle of my sentence and said "No it just made me think of Keith"

I gave a questioning glance than remembered. Lance had turned his head down and did not see my nod of  understanding, he explained.

Lance POV

Whenever I was down Keith would always sit next to me and rub small circles on my upper back and shoulders. I told Hund and he put his hands on either side of my face, squeezed my cheeks and sad " You miss Keith huh"after he saw my eyes widen and tears start to well up in my eyes he said " I bet Keith is missing you to and wants to come back just as much as you want him to." he says as he pulls me into a hug. I hug him back even tighter. He's only been gone a few days but ever sine we've been together we have been spending most of our time with each other. Keith has been away with the Blade of Marmora and his mom. We were told it was a pretty important mission and so it was important for him to go. the said they needed as many people as possible.

" It's not just that though" I say as I start to pull out of he tight embrace. Hunk looks at me with a questioning glance. I began to explain. " ever since we've been together he doesn't go on any missions with the Blade of Marmora." Hunk squints his eyes and say's " isn't that a good thing tho,
it means you get to spend more time with him."

" Well yeah sure, we getto spend LOTS more time together and it is great. Kinda like making up for lost time I guess,....." "buuut....." says Hunk. "But I feel like he is only doing it for me because I mean we all know how dedicated he is to it and now he just stops?"

Hunk looks at me, sighs and shakes his head and says "Bro he did it for you, because he loves you and wants to spend time with you" I turn to face him let out an annoyed groan and stomp up the stairs to my room.

No one gets it, I not upset that he had to leave, I'm upset he's putting my happiness way above his and the other relationships he has with thr Blade of Marmora. I want him to be happy to. After think while stomping to my room,  I FINALLY get there ( omfg why does this castle have to be so freaking huge) I run into my room jump onto my bed and face planted onto my pillow.
