cheer up buddy pt.2

Lance POV

After laying in bed for at least half an hour trying to get to sleep, I gave up and pulled out the phone Pidge had made for all of us using the Altean tech she found in the castle. I started to look at the pictures I had of me and Keith before he left. I hope he comes home safe he said to himself as he drifted off to sleep.

Keith POV

I didn't want to leave Lance he had been enjoying us being together so much, hell I was to. I wouldn't have gone with the BOM I didn't have to but when the leader had explained the importance of the mission I couldn't miss it. To be honest I hated the idea of leaving lances side.

On the fight back to the castle I began thinking. When I had been on the mission, It made me remember how much I missed the thrill of fighting. I Haden't been on a mission in a while since I had gotten with lance. But I say it was worth it. I was making up lost time and the time I was making up was great.

Time skip to castle ( still Keith POV)

After the ship that dropped me off had left I began walking further into the castle. I walked past the Training room and saw Shiro training as per usual, found Pidge locked in her room ( probably working on some new tech that could posable kill us). Once I got to the kitchen I saw Hunk leaning on the island in the middle of the room.

"What ya up to" I asked as I walked over to him." oh ah not much, I see your back huh, how did the mission go." He said. He looked I guess the best word for it is concerned. " you look confused and sad, what's up." He looked at me for a couple seconds, sighed and put his chin on the palm of his hand.

"It's lance"

"What do you mean it's Lance!?" I said my voice slightly raising." is he hurt did he go out on a mission, is he okey???!!!!!"Hunk lifter his head off his hands quickly and shook his hands infant of his face and quickly said"NO NO NO nothing like that, It's just.....he feels bad about you going away"

No Ones POV

Keith put his hands on either side of his head and tilter his head back "I knew I shouldn't have left for the mission, I should have stayed with him and I shou-" Hunk interrupted by saying " No, that not what he is upset about, I mean that's what I thought at first to"

Keith looked at Hunk squinting his eyes in confusion and said " Then what is he upset about?"Hunk walked over to the cabinets and began puling out a back of chips and said " I think you should go ad ask him about that, but I do think you being back will help so that's good. I always hated seeing him so down"

Keith nods his head and jogs out of the kitchen to lances closed door. He opens the door and when he walks in he sees lance laying on his back asleep with his phone laying on his chest. The phone is still on as Keith was over and is still showing a picture of them together before he left for the mission. Keith smiled at the memory and lightly shook lance to wake him up, and it did. After lance rubbed his eyes he sat up and stretched his arms, that he stopped, looked up at Keith. His eyes widened and he jumped up to hug Keith while he hugged Lance back.

Lances POV

I couldn't believe it, Keith back. The time between when he left and now hd felt so short and I was so happy he was back.when we let go of each other his face changed from a smiling one to a serious one which scared me. I put my hands on the sides of his face and asked " Keith what's wrong, did something happen?"

He took my hands in his and said " Thats what I should be asking you, on my way here Hunk said you wee upset when I was gone and I wanted to know what was wrong? He said It wasn't that you didn't want me to leave so I got real confused and I want to know what t is that upset you so much? please tell me."

I look into his eyes and say "It's just you love going on missions with the BOM and when we got together you just stopped." Keith still looked confused as he said " Well yeah I wanted to spend time with you to make up for the time we weren't together. Did you not want that?"

"NO NO NO it's just that going on those missions made you so happy and instead you choose to be with me tomato me happy. I want you to be happy to and If going on missions with them does that then you should do that."

He stared back into my eyes for a while, shook his head and said " Don't you get it going on missions with The Blade is not the only thing that makes me happy. There is something that makes me even more happy and that is spending time with you."

I started smiling and put my arms around his neck and played my head on his shoulder. " I didn't want to leave you, but the BOM didn't really give me a choice, if it was any other mission I would have turned them down and stayed here with you. You make me so much more happy than going on missions and fighting glara."Keith moved away from my and lifted my head up to his and kissed me, right away I kissed him back. When we pulled away I put my hand on his which was stallion the side of my head, looked his in the eyes, smiled and said " spending time with you makes me happy to. I'm happy your back" HE smiled and Said " God I love you so much"
