"mark, i swear to god i'm going to scream."
"babe, don't. i promise it's not scary."
donghyuck scoffed and stopped walking. "yeah, the last time you said that you shoved a fucking daisy in my mouth."
mark laughed and nudged his blindfolded lover forwards. "this time i promise promise that i won't shove a daisy in your mouth."
it had been exactly a year since mark and donghyuck had became a thing and due to the fact that they become a couple at the boba shop, he wanted to continue on their 'cute tradition' and plan a little something for the younger boy.
"mark trying to be a good boyfriend is so sweet and cuuuute," jaemin sang over the phone when mark called to ask for help a few weeks prior.
"bro, i didn't even realize you were this whipped," jeno said in the background.
"well, now you do," mark snapped. "now jaemin, please help. i really wanna do something nice for him, but i'm a klutz and i'm scared i might screw it up."

"chenle, i didn't add you into the call just for you to pick on me."
"well, i don't know why you added me then," jisung said on another line.
"okay, you guys need to shut you dumb dumb bubble gum selves up," renjun said on another line.
"yeah, what renjun said."
"mark, you're no better."
after a two hour call, the six doofuses managed to compose a list of things that donghyuck liked. all while firing insults back & forth and getting distracted.
"pop tarts?"
"oh yeah, he eats that shit like it's the last thing on earth."
"fairy lights? he's always complaining about how he's broke and his parents won't get him some."
"yeah, and eating out too. he really likes picnics."
"mhm mhm. oh! he really likes painting."
"i remember that time when he dumped paint over jeno's head because he kept swiping at him with the paint brush."
"in my defense, i was just messing around. he—"

"he also really likes stargazing for some reason. he never likes going out to do it though."
