Cause It's Gotta Be... Us?

Chapter 1

(Destruction helped me write this)

“Is there a problem?” Caitlin asked, her voice shaking out of fear. Caitlin was a goody-two shoes kind of girl who did not like to get in trouble; so she was immediately freaking out.

            “Just come with me,” Paul said. They couldn’t tell if he was angry or not.

            They followed.

            “Oh my God, what did we do?” Caitlin whispered to Destiny. “All I did was throw a teddy bear on stage. It’s not like that one time where some whack-o threw a tampon at Harry; or when that girl jumped up on stage.”

            “I don’t know,” said Destiny. “But other girls were doing that also. So why are we in trouble?”

            “Who knows, but I hate this.” Caitlin said. “We’re going to a British jail now for sure.” The girls were from New Jersey and they were studying at London University in Britain. “Now I won’t be able to go back to school, they’re gonna kick me out, oh my God…”

            “Stop freaking out! You’re gonna get me more paranoid than I already am!” Destiny complained, throwing her hands over her ears. Her face was becoming flushed, her heart racing from the anxiety.

            Reluctantly, the girls followed the security guard down long winding, dimly lit, hallways. Before they knew it, they could hear voices coming from one of the rooms. “One Direction” read across a bright yellow star hanging above the doorway further down the hall.

            “Did you see-?” Destiny asked, her eyes widening. No way. They couldn’t be walking straight up to the door that, just behind, were the five boys they had been obsessing over for months.

            “This has to be some sort of cruel joke.” Caitlin responded, her hands shaking with hidden excitement. The security wouldn’t just pull them back for a joke, would they? Caitlin couldn’t help but be excited at this point. Maybe they got her bear! She could barely contain herself!

            Just as they reached the door, Paul stopped short. He turned to face them, his expression stern.

            “Okay, girls. The boys would like to speak with you. They a little tired from the show so please try to keep calm.”

            “Easier said than done.” Destiny muttered under her breath, as the security guard turned around and left, closing the door behind them.

            There they were: Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne.
