(Caitlin’s P.O.V.)

“Hi, Harry,” Caitlin said (hopefully not too) cheerfully as she stepped into Harry’s Audi R8 Coupe, with The Beatles’ “All My Loving” playing softly on the radio.

“Hello, Caitlin, you look nice,” said Harry, flashing his pearly whites, and Caitlin’s ovaries exploded and was trying so hard not to faint after hearing that lovely British accent talk to her. She felt a bit uncomfortable being in the presence of a hot British boy from a worldwide famous boyband in which almost every girl wanted.

“Uhm, thanks! You too!” she said, sounding nervous. He was wearing his famous tan trousers (And sagging them slightly! It made Caitlin go paranoid) and a red polo shirt. His “bipolar” hair was curly today.

“You ok?” asked Harry, sounding a bit concerned, as he pulled out of the college’s parking lot.

“Yeah, I guess I’m just nervous.” Caitlin said honestly. “This is my first date, since… Well, y’know…” Her voice trailed off.

“Yeah, I know what you’re talking about,” Harry cut her off. “It’s ok, you don’t have to talk about it. I know you probably don’t want to.”

“Thanks,” Caitlin said, feeling relieved that she didn’t have to bring up her ex again. She really hated talking about him. “And I guess it’s still new to me that the fact that Harry Styles, One Direction member, asked an ordinary fan out on a date.” She laughed a little.

“No need to be scared.” Harry smiled. “Just remember, I’m an ordinary guy, just like you’re an ordinary girl. It’s just that my dreams happened to come true.”

“I know,” she said. “Still, I find it very cool and kind of nerve-wracking.”

“Yeah, I guess I can understand why you would be nervous.” He said. “Honestly, I was scared to ask you if you were single. When I saw you at the show, I thought you were so pretty, and before we went on I said to Louis ‘Hey, she’s pretty,’ and pointed to you on the telly that we had in our dressing room. And Niall came over and said that he thought your friend Destiny was cute. So Louis got our bodyguard to go up to you girls at the end of the show and bring you backstage.”

“Haha, I remember Destiny and I were scared that we did something wrong and we were afraid that we were going to a British jail for something. But when he took us to your dressing room, we were freaking out like crazy. At first we thought it was a joke,” said Caitlin, now laughing at the memory.

“Sorry, we didn’t mean to scare you ladies,” said Harry as we pulled into the stone driveway of his recently bought bachelor pad.

“It’s ok, no harm done,” said Caitlin, opening the car door and stepping out, Harry helping her out. Just then there were a few flashes and scampering feet, along with a huge white van speeding up the street. Caitlin shrieked and fell back a few steps, stumbled over and fell flat on her bum. People all dressed in black were holding photography cameras and taking pictures every second.

“It’s ok, it’s just paparazzi,” said Harry, trying to step in front of Caitlin to protect her. Caitlin held up her big white Coach bag to hide her face as she pushed herself off the ground and swiftly half-walked and half-jogged up the driveway and up the steps into Harry’s home. Harry smiled and gave the paparazzi a little wave before he dug the keys out of his pocket, unlocked the door, and Caitlin stepped into what looked like the most gorgeous house she had ever seen.

Harry took off his shoes, and Caitlin followed his movements.

“I’m very sorry about that, I should have warned you about the paparazzi,” Harry said, hugging Caitlin.

“It’s ok, I guess I just wasn’t expecting it.” She returned his hug. Boy, did he smell good. “Man, now there’s gonna be so many rumors flying around. I can just picture it now- HARRY STYLES BREAKS CAROLINE’S HEART AS HE TAKES GIRL BACK TO HIS HOME.”

Harry laughed. “I wouldn’t be surprised,” he said. “I’m guessing you heard the rumors about her and I are back together.”

“Maybe,” Caitlin said slyly, looking at the ground, blushing. Harry laughed again.

“Yeah, that’s why I figured a quiet date at home would be perfect. I didn’t want you to get scared since paparazzi are everywhere these days. But it looks like that didn’t work out.”

“Oh, it’s ok. It’s perfect, actually,” Caitlin said, still blushing slightly.

“Should I show you around?” He asked. Caitlin nodded. He took her hand, which was trembling slightly, and showed her his new bachelor pad. He had a sitting room with a 60 in. LCD TV and a fireplace. His kitchen had a brick oven for cooking pizzas, everything was stainless steel, and was so neat and organized.  There were also two guest bathrooms, two guest bedrooms, a master bedroom and a master bathroom with a Jacuzzi and mini LCD TV inside. He also had a nice deck outside complete with a grill and patio furniture, and a pool and hot tub.

“Your house is gorgeous!” Caitlin exclaimed after the tour. “It’s so much nicer than my cramped, grubby dorm back at college.”

“Thank you!” said Harry, smiling. “And I’m sure your dorm isn’t that bad. And here in Britain we call college University.”

“Really?” Caitlin questioned. “Sorry, I’m not exactly ‘with it’ (Caitlin did air quotes) on British terms yet. I’m trying, though.” She said with a smile and small giggle.

“It’s fine. I’d be glad to teach you!” He patted her shoulder, and she smiled. “Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m starving. I think I’ll get the tacos started.”

“You just read my mind,” said Caitlin, laughing. “Need help?”

“No thanks, you just sit down and look pretty.” He said. Caitlin giggled. “Here, I’ll get you some wine. Is white whine ok?”

“Yeah, that’s good.” Caitlin paused for a moment, thinking, and then she said, “Oh! I just remembered the drinking age is 18 here. In America it’s 21.”

“I know, the boys and I were mad when we found that out, especially Niall, being an Irish lad.” He laughed.

Caitlin laughed too. She then saw the bear she had thrown on stage the night of the concert sitting on the loveseat across from her. It was a little brown bear with a blue blazer, just like he wore. Harry caught her looking at it, then said, “Yeah, I forgot to mention that I got your bear,” he said. “That was very thoughtful of y-“ He paused. “Oh! I almost forgot!” Harry raced out of the room, and then came back with a dozen red and white roses in his hand. “For you,” he said, handing them to Caitlin.

“Awh, thank you! You’re so sweet!” she squealed slightly, the fangirl inside of her showing a bit. She understood at this point that Harry was an ordinary guy, but at this spur of the moment, she was delighted that the One Direction member had gotten her flowers. She set them aside.

“The tacos are just about ready. You can sit down now and I’ll serve,” he said.

“Okay!” Caitlin took her place at the table, and Harry came with the tacos.
