Still in their outfits from the last segment of the show, they were all standing in a circle, talking, when they all turned around, looking at the girls.

Caitlin, majorly suppressing a squeal, managed to speak, even though her voice was all quiet and mousy. “Hi…?” She said shyly. “Um… Paul said you guys wanted to talk to us?” Her voice was very slow and uneven.

“Hello ladies. You enjoy the show?” Liam asked, and Destiny flinched when he spoke.

            They nodded, completely speechless.

“Glad you enjoyed it.” He smiled, and Caitlin smiled back nervously. Destiny didn’t move a muscle. “Now, the main reason you’re here is because Harry wanted to speak to you-,” he pointed at Caitlin-“and Niall wanted to speak to you.” He pointed at Destiny.

“Oh,” squeaked Destiny in a very hushed voice, shaking out of nervousness and internal fangirling.

“Alone.” Liam said sternly. “Cmon’ Zayn and Louis, we gotta get going.” All three boys left, leaving Harry, Niall, Destiny, and Caitlin alone in the dressing room.

“Um… how do you do?” asked Destiny, her voice ending on a high note. Caitlin could tell immediately she regretted saying this.

Caitlin gave Destiny a look of comfort. She knew Destiny could barely control herself in front of her favorite boy in her absolute favorite boy band.

“Would you girls like to sit down?” Harry asked in his deep posh accent, motioning to the couch across the room.

Both girls nodded in unison, glancing at each other before slowly moving to the couch. They sat down slowly, close together out of nervousness.

“You girls okay?” Niall asked, concern in his voice. He slowly slid in beside Destiny, his arm going behind her on the couch instantly. Harry followed Niall’s lead and did the same besides Caitlin. Destiny smiled, looking down while her cheeks turned a bright red.

“Yeah, we’re fine. Um… so what did you want to talk about?” Destiny managed to stutter out, avoiding eye contact.

Caitlin glanced up at Harry and instantly looked away, trying to keep herself from melting in her seat. His eyes sparkled a bright green, his smile just as bright and perfect as she had always imagined. This couldn’t be real. They just had to be dreaming.

“Oh right. Well, not to sound too forward, but Niall and I were both wondering if you girls were—“ Harry said, his nervousness evident in his voice.

“Single.” Niall blurted out, finished Harry’s sentence with a smile as he leaned in towards Destiny intently.

Destiny and Caitlin both inhaled sharply, eyes widening to the size of softballs. This was the proof. They were positively dreaming. They glanced at each other slightly, trying not to make it too obvious.

“We are.” Destiny answered, suppressing her massive smile.

“Well, I’m kind of just getting over a really bad break up.” Caitlin said, still not making eye contact with anyone, staring at the dismal gray carpet.

“Oh, I’m sorry about that.” Harry said, his expression becoming soft and caring. He placed a hand gently over Caitlin’s, comforting her.

“Yeah, because we came here from America- New Jersey, specifically- to study abroad for a semester at London University. Almost like a trial to see if we would like it here. We ended up loving it. My boyfriend- well, ex-boyfriend now- and I were doing a long distance relationship. But while Face Timing one night he confessed to me that he had been cheating on me for the last eight months of our relationship then broke up with me in a 2-minute video chat. So now I’m newly single, and… I feel great, honestly. But…”        She realized she was babbling and talking super fast, and then stopped. A tear slowly ran down her soft cheek.

“Aww,” Harry said, and he draped his arm around Caitlin’s quivering shoulders. She then buried her face in her hands and started bawling, which greatly embarrassed her. Was she seriously moping about her ex in front of Harry Styles, One Direction member and ladies’ man? Harry reached over to the wooden side table and grabbed a tissue, and handed it to Caitlin.

“Yeah, it was her first love, so she’s a bit sad,” said Destiny. Caitlin was annoyed that she made it sound like she had a bad case of first-love syndrome, and shot her a “you’re not helping” look. Destiny took the hint and lowered her eyes; somewhat embarrassed she had made that comment.

Caitlin blew her nose into the tissue, and then looked up, still misty-eyed with tears.

“Sweetheart,” Harry piped in suddenly, and Caitlin’s heart skipped a beat. HARRY STYLES JUST CALLED YOU SWEETHEART!! Her insides rang. “Any guy must be insane to cheat on such a nice girl like you. And I’m sure he has no idea what he lost. It’ll be alright.” He smiled that pearly white smile that made girls’ ovaries explode. “Sorry, we never asked your names.”

“I’m Destiny,” she pointed at herself.

            “And I’m Caitlin,” Caitlin said.

“Destiny’s such a pretty name!” Niall said. Destiny truly looked at him for the first time, smiled, and said, “Thank you.” She blushed a little.

Caitlin looked at her watch. “Oh my gosh, look at the time!” She gasped. “It’s almost 1 in the morning! Destiny, we better go, I have a huge test tomorrow…”

“Oh, shit, you’re right!” Destiny exclaimed. Harry narrowed his eyes at her. He did not like swearing much. “Oh, sorry.” She said, her face getting red. “Yeah, we have to go back now… thank you guys so much! And the show was amazing!”

“Thanks,” Niall said. “Before you go, we need your full name, address, Facebook, Twitter, and phone numbers.” His Irish accent was just as perfect as the girls had heard it in their interviews.

Caitlin’s eyes widened. “Okay.” She finally managed to say. Once they exchanged information, the boys hugged them, said they’d call, and then left.

Once the girls got to Caitlin’s Volkswagen Beetle, they made sure nobody was around, and screamed loudly.

“Can you believe this?” Destiny squealed. “Caitlin, pinch me- OW!” She yelped when Caitlin pinched her.

“I know!” said Caitlin. “Well, let’s see if they really keep their promise and call.”
