~sorry everyone, WattPad cut my last chapter short, and I don't remember all of it now so I shall do my best to finish that chapter here~
(Athena's P.O.V) end of Chapter 9
Suddenly he snapped out of it.
"And I shall hope you learn better manners soon, or life will be a hell lot worse for you here." he said as he started turning around towards the door. Wow mood swings much, I thought as I watched him curiously
"Oh which reminds me..." he said suddenly stopping and looking over
his shoulder at me with a malicious grin on his face,"you might want to prepare yourself. I hope you like pain."
And with that he turned around again and walked towards the door opening it then slamming it shut behind him.
"Well that was certainly interesting." I said looking at the door that Loki had just left through, I wonder what he meant.
End of Chapter 9.
(Athena's P.O.V) Chapter 10
Loki left and I felt a sense of emptiness because he was gone and fear because of what was to come.
He almost seemed.....nice for a second. I thought, then something seemed to snap him out of it.
This was all so confusing. With a puzzled look on my face I turned around and sat back down on the bed and stared at my hands. I should probably try to get some rest, I thought to myself. Ever since Loki had brought me here I had barely slept, I was too worried that if I shut my eyes, I might get sucked into the black vortex that haunted my sleep.
Nightmares had been plaguing my sleep ever since the first night that Loki had made me cry. They were full of horrible things, my family dying right before my eyes and I could do nothing to save them, rivers running red with blood.
Worst of all I saw Loki, lying on the ground with a sword plunged through his stomach, and in my dream he turned his head and looked at me with tears running down his face as he gasped for breath, and he said one thing over and over again, "You are the light Athena, save them from me." right before his eyes would glaze over and his gasping would stop. Then I would always wake up gasping and covered in sweat. I was tired of that dream plaguing my dreams, so I refused to sleep.
So I lay there on the bed refusing to fall asleep. But after awhile I couldn't help it and I slowly closed my eyes, suddenly I was plunged into the same nightmare I'd been having for more that 2 weeks, my family was right in front of me calling out to me and screaming as the fire that surrounded them slowly burned them to death and all I could do was stand there and watch as they slowly died, theirs screams soon fading from existence.
And suddenly all too soon I saw Loki, his jet black hair was plastered to his head from sweat as his face slowly turned grey, his hands grasping at his wound and his eyes stared at nothing.
Slowly he turned his head to look at me, "You are the light Athena, save them from me" he gasped as tears fell from his eyes, he was trying to fight it I could tell, but it was too late. He shakily took one big breath in as his eyes slowly closed and with one last shudder he was still.
I quickly sat up from bed gasping, with my clothes plastered to my body with sweat, to see that Loki, the real Loki was standing at the side of my bed staring at me with his hands clasped behind his back.
"Good to finally see you awake. Get up and follow me." he said with no expression as he turned and walked towards the door.
Why yes I am completely fine don't you worry, I muttered sarcastically to myself as I shook myself off and started off towards the door.
As I reached it I looked out the door and saw Loki standing outside tapping his foot impatiently.
"Your far too slow now hurry up!" he growled as he grabbed me arm and roughly started to drag me down the dark, cold hallway. I tried slowing myself down by not picking up my feet so that they dragged and it was harder for him to pull me along but soon enough he got tired of that.
So he turned around, picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, with his hand grasping my legs, as I pounded his back with my fists screaming as loud as I could.
"Let me down! Let me down!" I shouted as he continued to walk down the hall, when suddenly we came to a stop. I tried to turn my head around to see why and saw that we had stopped at a big black door with weird carvings of a huge serpent with long dripping fangs wrapped around the body of a man as he seemed to almost be struggling to get away from the serpent. This made me even more nervous if that was even possible.
Loki unlocked the door and slowly pushed it open and stepped inside pushing the door closed behind him.
"Now darling, I want you to see where you shall be spending most of your days." he said as he put me on the floor and turned me around but still kept a tight grip on my left hip.
When I had turned around I gasped in horror and fear and brought my hands to my mouth. We were in a large black room with no windows, and there were what seemed to be torture devices all around the room each one looking more gruesome then the last. And then in the farthest corner there was a rusty, spring bed with plain white sheets on it. I didn't even want to know what we would use that for....
~Voila! Next chapter guys! Sorry it took SOOO long, I shall try my best to update faster. So I hope u like it and please vote and comment!!!~
