Sister Matilda;"you go take a look for yourself. But don't say I didn't tell you."

I wiped my mouth removing the bitter stuff off my lips.

Y/n:"you should not be the headmaster if this church. Especially calling yourself a child of god,"

~Present~

Sister Matilda:"leave at once. I will no longer take anymore disrespect from you ever again!"

Y/n:"I'll be glad to leave. I will no longer have to deal with your abuse anymore. I will bring you your fair karma back to you."

I straightened myself before standing up. I turned around and turned the door knob.

Sister Matilda:"good luck looking for him. You won't be finding him on the surface."

I closed the door behind me. My hands turned to fists. I walked for the door, then someone grabbed my sleeve.

Sarah:"you're really leaving now aren't you?"

Phil:"y/n! No! You can't leave just yet! You said you would stay to see me get adopted!"

Y/n:"that was before my brother got adopted...but I promise, I'll be here to see you go."

Phil:"I'm going to miss you y/n..."

Y/n:"I'm going to miss you guys too. I would say goodbye to everyone, but it's still too early in the morning."

Sarah:"happy birthday Y/n. Have a great trip to your own path now."

I gave them both a tight hug. They wanted to cry, but they were strong enough to hold them back.

Y/n:"I'll see you guys another day. Tell your future parents I said hi."

I said to them as I walked out of the door. I turned my back on them and began to walk up the pebble road. I looked at the signs as I reached a road. There was a sign that lead to the capitol. Seoul. I began to walk in the direction of the sign. The sun was hot and blazing my back. But the few wind streaks flew by and felt refreshing. There was still 20 miles until I reached the city. It would take me hours to get there on foot. I held my thumb out for people who passed me. But they wouldn't pick up a hitchhiker. I kept walking. I would stop and rest by some trees to catch a break from the sun. I reached in my bag for my hat. I put it on and pulled my bag over my shoulders again. I tried holding up my thumb again. Then one car finally pulled over.

Y/n:"are you heading to Seoul by any chance?"

Man:"I sure am. I'm going to buy some groceries."

Y/n:"I guess you don't mind if I hitch a ride?"

Man;"no it's fine. Just as long as you put on your seatbelt."

I hopped in the passenger seat. I knew that I should never get in the car with strangers, but I had no choice. I would take any chance that is thrown at me.

Y/n:"do you know anything about the Tuan family?"

Man:"the Tuan's? I've heard of that name before. I think they are one of those rich Taiwanese families."

It made sense since that kid had an accent. But i still able to understand him.

Y/n:"do you know anything about them?"

Man;"sadly no. All I know is that they are rich and give money to charities,"

The man then proceeded to hum to his music from the radio. We entered Seoul finally. I looked at the huge town. Much different from when I grew up."
