Chapter 22

Amber’s POV

When Jason asked me to marry him, all I could do was cry.  Since I couldn’t speak, I just shook my head yes.  I was crying out of joy, when Jason got up off his knee, hugging me, giving me the most passionate kiss ever, but this time, Blake didn’t say a word.  I grabbed his face as we were kissing.  I pulled away, whispering in his ear saying “baby, I love you, don’t make me let you go, took such a long time for me to find you, don’t make me let you go.”  Jason smiled whispering, “Who I am with you, is who I really want to be, you’re so good for me, and when I’m holding you, it’s like I’ve got the world in my hands, yeah, a better man is who I am with you” loud enough for Chris to hear.  With hearing that, I looked over at Chris and Jessie, whom were both smiling, starting to passionately kiss.  I then looked over to where Blake and Miranda were standing, and they were no longer there.  All the vehicles were still in the drive, so they must have gone upstairs.  Within a matter of seconds we heard a high pitched and low pitched screech, and a thud.  We all decided that we didn’t want to know what the hell was going on.  I looked at Jason, then looking at Jessie and Chris, they shrugged their shoulders, and I did too.  I drew my attention back to Jason when he started to kiss my neck.  I smiled, just hugging him.  I knew he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

Jessie’s POV

When Amber said yes to marry Jason, I was so happy for her.  I knew he would treat her well, so, I didn’t question it at all.  After she said yes, Chris and I sat in the dining room, talking, and the next thing I knew, Chris grabbed my face, kissing me passionately.  I pulled away, smiling at him, knowing I was going to spend the rest of my life with him.  I pulled out of my thoughts, asking “Chris, baby, what was that kiss for?”  He smirked saying “well, I didn’t know I had to have a reason to love my wife to be.”  I smiled, kissing him again.  Our kiss was broken by Miranda and Blake coming downstairs, with Miranda saying “okay, love birds, time to break it up.  We have a baby doctor’s appointment to go to.”  I looked over at Amber, whom was looking at Blake and Miranda, and she said “Hey, Blake, and Randa, what’s up with your hair?”, while Jason asked “Blake, if you’re going to this appointment, why are you shirtless, and why do you have scratches up and down your back?”, finally I asked the most important question there was “hey daddy and mama, did…did y'all have crazy wild sex?”  Blake and Miranda turned beat red, with their jaws dropped to the floor, with Chris saying “okay, honey, let’s go to the baby doctor’s appointment” he trailed off.

Chris’ POV

As soon as Jessie brought up crazy wild sex, she started laughing, along with Amber, which is where I came in saying it was time to go to the baby doctor’s appointment.  I stood up, helping Jessie up, pulling her into a hug, kissing her.  I put my hand around her waist, and walked her to the truck.  Her and I got in the back while Blake and Miranda got in the front.  As we made it to the doctor’s office, I had my hand on her tummy, and I felt the baby kick for the first time.  It brought tears to my eyes; finally I realized that Jessie was looking at me, with a huge smile on her face.  She whispered “baby, you got to feel our baby kick for the first time”, and all I could do was smile.  As Blake and Miranda got out, I helped Jessie out.  We walked in, walking up to the receptionist, signing in.  About 5 minutes later, a nurse came out saying “Jessie Shelton.”  We all got up, walking back with her.  We got to a room, and Jessie hopped up on the bed, grabbing my hand.  We sat for a minute, and then the doctor came in, saying “Ms. Shelton, will you please lift your shirt?”  Jessie did so, while the doctor squirted goo on her stomach, rubbing it around.  When she was finished, she gave Jessie a towel to wipe off, saying “your baby is growing at a healthy pace.  Congratulations, again.”  As we left the doctor’s office, Jessie looked around saying “guys, I’m hungry…. Can we stop and get some Sonic so I can get some jalapeño poppers?”  We all laughed, with Jessie saying “guys, I’m serious… Can we?”  Miranda turned around saying “baby girl we can get whatever you want.” Jessie just smiled as we pulled up to Sonic.  Blake, Miranda, and I all ordered a meal, while Jessie ordered like 10 things of jalapeño poppers.  You could tell she was in heaven with them, and it warmed my heart that she was so happy.
