Ash-Greninja had an injury on his back and his palms and long tongue were cut by The Mastermind. Ash had also lost one of his machetes and also all his pokemons had been defeated... It all came down to this final battle between The Mastermind and Ash-Greninja... The Mastermind remembered all the people he had killed and destruction he had caused as he saw the anger flowing in Ash-Greninja's eyes...
Ash jumped into the air and so did Greninja! Both of them had a clash in mid-air with their weapons but this time The Mastermind grabbed Ash-Greninja's head and threw him towards the ground. Ash fell to the ground too... He then ran up towards Greninja and kicked him. He smiled as he kicked him twice. 'WEAKLING!' he yelled as he ddi it. When he tried to kick him the third time, Ash-Greninja grabbed his leg and swung him to the other side. He fell to the ground. He stood up and suddenly Greninja used Dark Pulse on Ash's hands! The machete fell off from his hands before Ash even knew it! 'How did this weakling get so clever?' the Mastermind thought as he went back to pick up the machete but Ash-Greninja used Quick Attack and reached to the machete faster and used Power Up Punch on it a lot of times and then finally broke it with a kick!
The Mastermind was dumbfounded... That... Was his last weapon... 'What?' he thought 'Did I... just lose?' Ash-Greninja's eyes were still filled with anger as he rushed towards the Mastermind to punish him for what he had done... 'So...' Ash thought 'This is my end, huh... This weakling Greninja will use the Water Shuriken on me and kill me... Only if I had more pokemons... I thought the guns would do it all... What a fool I am...' His eyes suddenly turned moist. Tears started dropping from his eyes as he realized his inevitable fate... His inevitable doom... Ash-Greninja was about to strike him with the Water Shuriken but as soon as he went to striking his head with the shuriken, he saw the tears... It felt like... The old Ash Ketchum had returned... There was regret on his face... He stopped. The Water Shuriken was an inch away from Ash's neck. Ash wiped his tears. 'Won't you kill me?' he asked. 'N-No...' Ash-Greninja replied 'H-how... It looks like you regret the decisions you have made and you want to transform yourself into the old Ash Ketchum! I can kill the Mastermind but I cannot kill Ash Ketchum... You are Ash Ketchum... You regret your mistakes... And so, I shall not kill you...'
'Then I will...' The Mastermind replied as a terrifying grin appeared on his face. Those words echoed in Ash-Greninja's ears as he realized the utter foolishness he had done by letting go The Mastermind. He snatched the Water Shuriken from his hands within a second, still managing to keep that terrifying grin on his face, and then cutting Greninja's neck with his own shuriken... Blue blood burst as Greninja yelled in pain. The Mastermind laughed. 'You are not only a weakling but also a fool!' he yelled 'What do you think? A Mastermind like me cannot control his emotions? HAHAHAHA! FOOL! WEAKLING!' Ash-Greninja transformed back into normal Greninja and his body collapsed to the ground... Greninja was finally... dead...
The Mastermind smiled as he gave a look of mercy at Greninja and then turned around to walk away, back to the Kalos Team Empire building. 'Farewell, Greninja...' he thought as he went out of the woods...
