"You can go??!!" Penelope exclaimed as she gripped Dolly's shoulders, slightly shaking her.
"Uh, y-yes. Stop that!" Dolly yanked away. Penelope still bounced up and down in excitement, too close to fan-girling.
"Alright, now you can count me in." Neil blankly spoke up on the side. Penelope waved her hand at him, keeping her attention only on Dolly.
"I can't stay the night and I'll have to wear my face mask though." Dolly added. Again, Penelope waved her hand at her.
"You have to come to my house like hours early before though! You have to let me do your hair and oh, I've got a perfect outfit planned for you!!" Penelope babbled. Dolly almost gulped, she already wasn't so social.
"It's literally this Saturday, like in two days. How did you already have that planned?" Neil asked.
"It was hypothetical at the time. But I'm so so excited!" Penelope almost made an 'eii' sound. Dolly carefully stepped back, then the bell rang.
"See ya after class!" Penelope waved off and she ran down the hall.
"Wanna come over today?" Neil asked as they turned to their class. Dolly nodded,
"I wanna stop by home first to feed Tio." She responded. The only pet she was allowed to have, a turtle she named Tio.
"That's ok, you take care of that feisty turtle." Neil smirked, Tio really only bit him once!Chloe didn't mind Neil riding along back home, nor did she mind Dolly spending time over at his house. Chloe and Simon trusted Neil that much. After all, they did learn everything about him.
Opening her bedroom door, Dolly went over to Tio's habitat. Neil sat down at her desk, watching her. Dolly quickly filled Tio's bowl before stroking his little head.
"You realize you have a pop can under your desk?" Neil spoke up, sitting back up to lift a half empty can of soda up.
"Oh, yeah." Dolly completely forgotten about it. "I'll be in deep trouble if mom or dad found that." She told as she took the can and headed to the bathroom.
"One can of pop ain't gonna do nothing." Neil mumbled, spinning in the desk chair. Dolly retreated back from disposing the can.
"A perfect doll mustn't drink that nasty stuff!" She mocked while tilting her head and mimicking her parents. Neil chuckled slightly, watching Dolly pick up her small blue shoulder bag.
"Be back in a bit, bud." She gave Tio a little pat. Before leaving her room, Dolly went ahead and grabbed her face mask that laid in her desk drawer. She didn't have to wear it, but just in case she had to.
Dolly waved bye to her parents while stepping outside with Neil. He only lived a few streets away, a short walk to them. Once they reached Neil's house, the two set their things down.
"Wanna play basketball?" Neil hollered as he walked to the garage.
"Yeah, grab the good one!" Dolly yelled back. Neil returned from the garage quickly with a scuffed up basket ball. He gently tossed it to Dolly, who caught it with ease. She wasn't that fragile.
"So you looking forward to Penny's party?" Neil suddenly asked. Dolly slightly bent her knees, then stood as she threw the ball at the hoop right above the garage.
"I guess, she mentioned before that kids from other schools are also coming. Something about her cousin inviting literally anyone from her school." Dolly responded, referring to Penelope's little cousin April.
"Yay, but are you gonna really let her doll you up? Pun intended." Neil smirked. Dolly gave him an eye roll, grabbing the basket ball and shooting while she talked to him.
"I'll just convince her to do the same to you." Dolly smiled.
"Oh haha, you know I already look amazing." Neil chuckled, quickly stepping forth and grabbing the ball before Dolly.
"Would you let me doll you up?" Dolly asked. Neil shrugged, then nodded,
"Cause you know what I like and you wouldn't over do it."
"Why thank you!" Dolly waved her hand to herself.Because of her strict curfew, Dolly returned home early. With a ride from Neil's mother of course, so she be back quicker. Dolly went straight to her room, wanting to get a little start on homework. A perfect doll must get their work done.
Wanting company, Dolly grabbed Tio and set him on her desk off to the side. She switched on her computer and logged on. Once she was on, her messenger binged.
"Make sure you bring your own snacks! You might not like what we'll have Saturday" -From Penelope. Dolly wanted to roll her eyes. Aside from Neil, Penelope knew how picky she could be. Her phone then suddenly binged with a message,
"I'm totally wearing my adventure time jacket to her birthday party" -From Neil. Dolly giggled, texting him back,
"Then I get to wear my turtle shirt" Dolly set her phone down, looking back at her computer. Time to do homework now.
Since a perfect doll must always be caught up.
