"You can be anything, you are so smart. You can go to Harvard, Velma" -Joseph A. Harris

Those are the words that crush through my brain, every single time I think about the lack of communication or, not truthfully understanding those simple cries for help. The four words a friend cries out in a time of need, "I want to kill myself." Not him. No. Never. This person who was there for me in a time of sadness and suffering. This person who was stronger than anyone else, or was this imagination?

Those who are perceived to be the strongest to the outside world, are those who have seen and suffered the most. Either they pick themselves up and keep going or, they stay trapped in the suffering. This is something that we as people need to take seriously and grasp. Always check on your "strong" friend.
