Chapter 2: School Starts

~ 6:30am next morning ~

*Knock knock*

"Hey, Sana! Your alarm had been ringing for the past 30mins and you really needa get up and get ready! We need to leave by 7am in order not to be late for school! In case you forget, it's our first day of school and we'd better...."

The door suddenly opened with a cold straight face glaring at me.

"That's your job to make sure we are not late even if I woke up late, okay? And I need my hand drip coffee and hot breakfast. You have 30mins to get this ready. Now, start!" Sana gives her order in mono tone while storming to the bathroom.

"How can a pretty girl like her have such a bad personality? How did she changed from a lovely dovey cheerful little girl growing up into this, this horrible deadly yet still beautiful young, lady... no respect at all! She never looks me in my eyes when she speaks....

I really wonder what kinda person she is among her friends now? Fake maybe? She seems to be flirty type? 🤔

Wait... What the heck I thinking? God!! Urgh~!" I utter my mind out loud as I walked to the kitchen to prepare what Sana, aka the queen, had ordered.

And yes, though we know each other since young, I really don't have any chance of meeting her other friends at all as I weren't allowed to by the queen and quote "you are just a kaboku to me and my family, you are unworthy of me. If it is not Ojiisan and the elders insisting to honour that ridiculous promise for god knows how many generations been past or even it is true or not to begin with, I don't even want you to be in my life." - end quote. Like I want to be part of her life nor having her as part of mine.....

This was said to me when I was 8 years old out of the blue and she just passed 6... but I was told it's fixed much earlier and had told me much much earlier.

I don't have a clear straight memory of it but yea, nothing can be changed... no matter how hard I try....

Things were not like this at first but....

"Hey, you know there will be 2 new students coming to our class this year right? I wonder what's their background? This is a royal private school here and it's impossible to have new students who haven't been studying here since young and usually is rich or special talents!"

"Hopefully will be girls as I have too much of you guys already. I need something cute and sweet in my life."

"Me too! They sure have some strong relationship to get into this school, right? Maybe we can get a sugar mommy!"

"HA! You suckers! I saw them just now while passing by principle's office! You have no idea, the girl looks like a goddess!! Her eyes.... I would die for a smile from her..."

"As if you can see from that far.... I assume then the other one is a guy then? As you never mention anything? How does he look? Or it's an ugly girl? 😏"

"Who cares!?" "I am so gonna kill you! "

"QUIET DOWN CLASS!" the old teacher commands as he went into the classroom, and the students went back to their seat quickly and greet the teacher together.

"From the look on your faces and your behaviour, seems like you all know that there will be new students then. Stop discussing and focus!
